Gold Gin for Christmas?

I was reading about gin that contains 24 karat gold flakes. What a waste. Apparently gold is OK to eat or drink . It just passes through the digestive system no harm done ( depending on size ) . Handy way of storing a collection safely in an emergency ?

In the far east, I was once served a cake with real gold flakes on them. It was expensive though and gold was less than a 1/100 of a gram I am informed.

Yeah, if you think his offer is going to be s**t, then imagine his face when the captain's log is placed upon his counter, "I can top this good sir." Here's one I made earlier...
