For auction: An Iranian 1 Bahar Azadi, featuring the portrait of Ayatollah Khomeini - the leader of post-revolutionary Iran. A chance to own a beautiful piece of modern Middle-Eastern history! This piece was struck in 1994 (1373), in 8.13g of .900 (90% pure) gold. This is a nice example, with mint lustre still present. It would fit snugly into any world gold collection, but could also suit the sovereign collector, at 22mm diameter. Start me off at £1. We'll go in increments of £1, to avoid any complicated mathematics. We will finish at 7pm on Thursday 14th September. Buyer to add their own choice of postage.
