Hello from North East England

Recommended Posts

Hi

I've just signed up to the forum after seeing it mentioned on a YouTube video.

I've been picking up Gold and Silver coins and bars over the last ten years or so but without a strategy or any idea of what I wanted to do with my purchases. At the moment I would class myself as a buyer rather than a seller, hoping to get myself educated and avoid making poor decisions when buying.

Cheers.

Welcome to the forums 🙂

an tell us about your stack 😁

Mostly sovereigns, 1oz silver coins and bars, a few old guineas, some silver piedfort pounds, a couple of those 2014 mule britannias, sets of the Beatrix Potter royal mint coins for the kids and 100g silver bars.

To keep my motivation I'm wanting to get a 1oz silver coin from every country that produces them. So far got maples, eagles, britannias so plenty of hunting needed.

indeed, plenty of choice too

It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.

Nah! I’m not so cool. It’s my initials for middle and last name and year of birth. I wish I were so cool!!!

It's an undeniable truth that anyone who has spent time in The North East is naturally cool and has a body temperature 2 degrees below the norm.

Lol my daughter is at Uni in Newcastle & walks about with a T shirt on when it's freezing , she fits right in there.

The problem with common sense is, its not that common.

Haha. I think someone was railroaded out of Newcastle for wearing a coat in December. One of my daughters has migrated south to Leeds and says its like living in a tropical paradise.
