I'm afraid this thread is way over my head. People sensing a drop?

I think the chance of ww3 is diminishing.  Therefore, I think gold will take a fall between now and the next financial stress, which is always looming in the background.  It could wind up down in the mid 1400's by spring 24 if none of the pressing disasters come to pass.  But I don't think it'll drop much below mid 1500's, Any benefit you get from holding off buying a small amount, will be chump change compared to missing out and potentially a very big rise if things do start to really go bad.  More likely is a bit of range trading here imo.

New profile pic to support the current thing, because it's current year.

Mate no one knows, especially the 1/10 oz gold experts on here 🤣 (everyone starts flashing their stacks)

@Coverte linked a good chart the other day, since 2000 gold has increased around 10% on average every year for the last 23 years.

RM has one and for simple people like me. My 1/10 is going to da moon.

With the narrative being pushed of all the pro Palestine/Hamas supporting are radicals on their protests/marches in western nations, expect narratives of homegrown terrorist "boogey-persons" to be the new evil to fear now the 'COVIDboogeyperson' is gone and folk are at ease now with the 'inflation/interest rate boogey person'

We should see a bounce soon maybe bottom is 1965, I haven't checked the support lately on my cheat sheet. The downward trend is less than 45 degrees which a good sign - if it was more than 50 then its 50/50. But Soloway says that if the angle of the trend is less than 45 degrees it normally a bounce and possible rip, note the rip could take up to 3 months. If the ongoing bullish pattern continues.

Central bankers are politicians disguised as economists or bankers. They’re either incompetent or liars. So, either way, you’re never going to get a valid answer.” - Peter Schiff

Sound money is not a guarantee of a free society, but a free society is impossible without sound money. We are currently a society enslaved by debt.

Lol love it…….. how small does a mars bar need to get before it’s not considered fun size anymore?

I'm sure there's a double entendre somewhere in that.

The Sovereign is the quintessentially British coin.  It has a German queen on the front, an Italian waiter on the back, and half of them were made in Australia.
