£17.59 including free postage for the 2013 Timeless First silver £20 coin on eBay if you use the LEAP20 promo code, which seems a reasonable price given how popular these ones have become lately.

Indeed a good price with the promo code.
Just checking recent sales for this £20 carded commemorative many sales have dipped below £20 face value and several have hit £25 or thereabouts.
Do you reckon this type of silver coin is worth holding for the longer term hoping it might be worth more than £20 after fees etc ?

The same seller also has both of the £50 coins at reasonable prices when you use that 20% off deal. They also have the £100 coins that come to £79.99 posted, but that's not such a great deal imho.

Quick delivery? My order still hasn't been processed yet and it was placed on Sunday. I doubt I will be using them again tbh

One day yes, but as they're a half-ounce bullion coin there's better things to buy I think. If they were £11 I'd be stacking them.

The Royal Mint really screwed many of us avid stackers when they announced the new £20, £50 and £100 "legal tender silver coins " before instructing the banks not to accept them. Yes they are half ounce in silver but the £20 value is stamped on the coin whereas the 1 ounce Britannia is stamped £2. The only time I believe, today, you can use the higher value coins is paying a court fine. I wonder if the Inland Revenue accepts them for paying a tax bill ? At the time it cost £20 for a £20 legal tender coin so why wouldn't anyone not wish to buy these.

The differing face value to weight anomaly is absurd.

Still waiting on tube of silver coins from Atkinsons still saying processed .

I got mine - they are spot on. Nice little tube - much easier to open and use than the royal mint ones.

The royal mint ones are very easy to open when you realise they are meant to be twisted off instead of being pulled.

I finally learned this about a year ago too! Why can't they just put a little arrow or "twist" logo on the lid and stop the suffering? 😆

Its more about putting the coins back in, but yeah.
I got the same ones with my Aztecs and personally they go in and out dead easy.
Maybe its me but the coins always buckle in the royal mint type tubes? not ideal for scratching etc!!
