That's the going rate for RM proof 1/4's...  I've bought a few pre-owned near bullion value just a year or two after release.  They aren't generally good investments but as long as the original owner got some enjoyment out of it that's what matters. 🙂

Not at all! 😅  People spend huge amounts of money on depreciating cars or a week in another country.  As long as you've enjoyed the experience, it's not a waste! 😁
