Thanks. I shall look into that. I was tempted by a 2023 coronation but had trouble justifying the cost of three in my mind.

Fair enough.  Closest thing I've found anywhere near me was a pawn broker that wanted £535 for an ex-mount shield.

There's a pawn broker around the corner from the bullion dealer, which doesn't know how to price coins. I've bought a couple of proof gold coins off them for bullion prices but the bullion sovereigns are way over what the price should be. I tried to tell them their prices are all over the place, after I bought the proofs of course 😁

Did exactly the same a few years ago, ended up with several proofs including 2002 and 2005 at bullion prices.

Pawn brokers are sharks anyway and they probably paid peanuts to the seller. No need to pay them anymore than they offer. Funny as I knocked them down £25 for a 2016 proof sovereign that was already a bargain to me 😄

This is my first coin, but on this forum, I started my adventure with gold a few weeks ago, so I started like an ordinary mortal, buying my first gold treasures on eBay, few coins and bars, then on private fb groups, I even bought myself a SIGMA tester, and at the same time met people who were so nice that they gave me some advice, they told me what and how, and I will try to follow these guidelines, one of these people is a member of this forum (Thanks K.)
