Big thanks to @ST1986 for this double.

A complete bargain when compared to a PF70 single sovereign.

Lesson for the day... Coin collectors are weird 😂

I bet that lovely coin is perfect. If you cracked it out and regraded it I bet 50/50 chance of coming back a 70. I genuinely don't get it. Never will. Coins not cases!😂

Well the ingot posted for sale here isn't listed on https://allengelhard.com/ - the pendant is very similar but it is not the same - this isn't an ingot which had the loop removed - the edge of the ingot is complete whereas it isn't in the pendant version.

No idea how many of these there are - there could be a lot more as i expect the pendant would be unusual but there again if the bar were commoner you might expect it to be listed. Either way i missed this one. I had to take a rental car back and was fussing about that so i wasn't paying attention and missed by a few minutes. Having sad that the bar would have just gone in a box and then into my coffin or someone else would have got it on my demise and sold it for crack cocaine or something similar perhaps.

As you can see in the pic above, the loop was on a strip that was presumably folded around the rim of the bar - so easily removable with no damage. I'm 99.9% sure it's the same bar.

Mate they are beautiful long haired show lines I imported 2 of them from syberia and one was bought in uk and other 2 Poland they are absolute stunners love them with my hole heart so intelligent and loyal

I wouldn't own any other type of dog. I don't have a dog now, but grew up with German Shepherds, like you say, intelligent and loyal. And pretty tasty when they need to be.

Many years ago my mum was walking our dog, who was a fair sized unit, in a local park. This was back in the day when you let your dog off the lead, because it was trained properly. Anyway some c@nt tried to grab my mum, thinking she was alone in the park. The dog spied this pretty sharpish and set about mauling the c@nt.

My mum got home and phoned the police (pre mobile times!). C@nt was duly arrested 2 hours later in A&E having his arm sewn back together!

Same dog also did similar after a nutter tried to kick our front door in. My mum heard the commotion and let the dog out the back door. Problem solved.

I'd take a German Shepherd over any alarm or safe.

Today I received a curiosity purchase… 5 of these goldbacks, one from each issuing state. Had seen a few things about these so thought it’d be fun to grab some, and they’re really quite beautiful ☺️

These are nice, absolute insanity premium-wise, but still nice. I bought a set months ago and planned to frame them, haven't got round to it yet. Maybe one day!

  5. I like a Brit as much as the next man, but not for £500+. That is a gap I would happily accept in my date run.

At some point, maybe next week, maybe in 10 years, these will appear on the market by the bucket-load.

Received this directly from the mint. There are "some" spots on the coin and a scratch on the capsule, but if well-trained professionals in the RM's QC department see them acceptable, who am I to say opposite?

Thats a shocker. I sent mine back a few weeks ago, it didn't have any milk spots, but it hardly had any frosting either!!! Still waiting for my replacement. If wasn't an absolute belter of a coin I would just have asked for a refund. Hope we get decent replacements...

Received my beautiful new addition to the Nautical series, the new 2023, courtesy of Silver Trader.

Could not agree more with @AgD absolutely stunning series. Although I've still not plucked up the courage to take them out of their OMP!

Wish the 2017 packaging didn't have that orange peel textured finish to it though.

Hmmmm still can't pick my favourite one.....maybe the Mayflower or perhaps the USS Constitution 🤔

Lovely series of coins, and couldn't agree more about the OMP, I like them that way too!
