@ChardsCoinandBullionDealer any chance of a TSF bulk order for the 2022 memorial bullion sovereigns?     I know theres individual compliancy etc but  we all have accounts with you any chance we could get some numbers together and we can all have a share of the  premium saving?

The Elephant is now out in 1oz gold Bullion. Beautiful coin and I think they have captured the design of an elephant very well.
As I write the coin is available from Atkinsons for £1565, with each new release being 5 years apart.
Start to finish this series will take 25 years to complete.
It will start of with an elephant followed by a lion, rhino, leopard and finally a buffalo.
I'm very tempted to sign up as I'm a huge fan of an elephant, lions are just majestic, rhinos have that look about them, leopards hmmmmm yh what ever, and the buffalo everyone loves a gold buffalo.

Ranks1970 reacted to StackemHigh in Gold Stackers Heart Attack ALMOST!!!
So i've been staying over at one of my very best friends while my bathroom was having a refit. A gold stacker to be sure so i thought while i'm here i'll be useful.
So yesterday i found his hidden gold stack! in an old broken vaccum cleaner, wondering if i could fix it i came across about 15 Troy Oz of assorted bullion 9999 gold. So i cleaned it  out and put the gold free cleaner outside for the bin men.
On his return from work he passed the offending article in the street and didn't notice it. I decided to casually tell him over a beer that the cleaner had been picked up and taken away, but he noticed it had gone when he went to get a bottle of scotch out the cupboard. He went pale then very quiet. Realising he had lost quite a lot of bullion i sat him down and told him that the broken cleaner was gone and that he would have to find another hiding place for his Oz's. He finally realized i had indeed found it and i was holding a little bag with over £22,000 pounds of bullion in it.
Not even a little angry he went away a hide it somewhere else in the house and said i bet you can't find it now.
Thankfully my bathroom will be ready on saturday!

Ranks1970 reacted to LawrenceChard in 2022 Bullion Sovereign to be Released 4th January 2022 - Official
It has been offcially announced that the 2022 Bullion Sovereign is to be Released 4th January 2022.
We already know that the design will be the same as the 2022 proof sovereign range, with the Royal Coat of Arms for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
    Edit:
This mornng I received a further e-mail, which included this rather ambiguous and confusing content:
"The bullion sovereign launching in January has been the same for many years and been different to the numismatic version. The emailer confirming this launch should be out today... The coin is beautiful!"
This appears to contradict the information given recently that the bullion and proof designs would have the same designs.
It is possible that this latest e-mail is intended to mean that the release dates are different, but all should become clearer very soon.

Ranks1970 reacted to Melon in Sigma Metalytics - the one test to rule them all?
Starting to seriously consider picking one of these Sigma Metalytics machines up. At first the cost seemed too much relative to my stack, but on reflection I think it's something that will be a valuable tool for years to come. Leaning towards the original version currently (lower cost).
I know lots of folk on the forum own these, so had a few questions that I was hoping for help with!
Any interesting stories of things you've found using one of these?  The original model versus the newer pro model - it seems the main difference is the measurement of size. On assumption I'm willing to do that using calipers the old fashioned way, is there any other notable benefit in one over the other?  Is it really as easy to use and reliable as the YouTube videos make out? Ever had issues? My understanding is combining the Sigma test alongside a weight measurement and a dimensions check is pretty much foolproof.  Will it work for small coins (e.g. half sovereign)?  Will it go right the way through when testing coins up to 1oz in weight? I appreciate for chunky bars it won't go all the way through.  I've seen GoldScreen have an alternative product although it's similarly priced. Is Sigma the one to go for or are there better options?  Lucky number 7, last but not least - Where's the best place to buy one at a decent price? (I'm in the UK)  For anyone else considering one, feel free to add your questions to the thread!
Massive thanks upfront for anyone that can share some wisdom 🙂

Received some Air tite tubes from @morezone today - thanks for the quick delivery especially over Christmas.
Everything all compacted and ready to go into a safe deposit box tomorrow, 35oz of Gold, 20oz of silver. If I’m being honest the silver is going in just to bulk it out as 35oz of gold doesn’t look like much haha.
