so this arrived today by FED EX ( not RMSD) from the mint , 1 oz,
i will be honest this is purley a speculative purchase, for a quick flip if there is demand with it been a low mintage so i can make a bit of brass 😀, first time trying this what you think?, so if it has no demand it can go in the stack/ safe.👍

As an avid Britannia collector, my gold collection is largely made up of 1/4 oz Britannia proofs, it’s hard to pick a favourite. In fact, the different designs compliment each other nicely.
I do have a fondness for the largely ignored 2013 design and I think 2020 will become a firm favourite.

Good question!
My favourite design is probably the 2014, but I have an aversion to all things .999 so I'll choose 1997 instead.
To be honest they are all good and, in my mind, highly collectable.

I was buying and selling a lot of vinyl around that time. From memory it was a decent time to sell, probably the last vinyl boom before the current one.

The forum is filled with many long term, knowledgeable stackers / collectors. In my experience, the vast majority of overpriced coins on the forum will never sell.

In the same week seven Queen Elizabeth II proof sovereigns came back from conservation & grading by PCGS and one (the 2013) from the Coin Cabinet auction.
