I think it’s a tiny pit or part of missing frosting. Difficult to tell, even under 20x magnification.
While we’re pointing out minor imperfections, there are a couple of specks of missing frosting on the Charlie side, which are clearly visible if you zoom in enough. Although the coin that achieved a 70 grade also had these.

After reading through the comments whilst the SOTD is still available I wonder how many people that can afford and also collect these type of sovereigns will be disappointed when it sells out on the RM website and the dealers increase the price
I think they're struggling to shift this one, as I've just had my first ever call from the Mint, reminding me it was available and that I haven't bought it yet.
Personally, I think this one will be available in the secondary market well below £850, but I've been wrong before.
I don't tend to look at dealer's sites, as the prices are usually well above what I'm willing to pay.

These are hard to come by cheaply, so I usually buy in bulk, this kind of thing:

It's worth making clear that the Perth Mint is the more well known / popular of the Lunar coins and we are now on the 3rd Series.
Although the RAM has a Lunar Series, it is better known for the annual Kangaroo coins.

You've been a little unlucky in my view - up until a couple of months ago, a 10 oz bar below £240 would have been snapped up on here (often by me), but the market (if not necessarily the spot price) has taken another downwards turn.
However, eBay prices are still largely above £250 with postage.
Personally, I would never sell 999 silver at only 20% above spot, as this basically means you are selling with no premium. I work on the basis that spot price for 999 silver in the UK should always include 20% VAT as a baseline, which is what you would have to pay if you were buying from a dealer.
I think it's important that both parties get something from a transaction, it can't all be in the buyers favour, so I usually start with an offer 25% above spot.
Based on the current spot price of £18.60, that would be £232.50.
If you are willing, I will take a bar for £235 posted.

I know this will excite some people - they now sell empty capsules for 10oz silver bars!
I got very excited until I spotted that they are £9 each. Should have known really…

Your quality photo shows it is cleaned. A poor photo one might not pick up on it. So if you want to sell it at a good price , take a rubbish photo lol
You have a point, as the scratches were not visible on the advert photo.
In fairness the seller has agreed to a return, as I only purchased with grading in mind.

I've had a raw one on eBay (and on here briefly) at £1275 (and accepting offers) for a few weeks, with no interest at all.
Long term, I think the premium for these will return, but not in the current market.
I'll be holding if nobody wants to pay my minimum.
If I had a PF70, I don't think I'd be selling it in this market.

@Charverdude - I’ll take these, thanks.
