When it sets off a new trend below support which it most definitely has not.  The move over the last 36 hours is nothing out of the ordinary.  A gap or window was opened up after the weekend and most gaps are closed quickly ie the price retreats back to the level it was before the gap.  We are simply there now and that does not mean we have entered bearish territory.  We may yet enter bearish territory but there is pretty strong support below.  Nothing out of the ordinary but a bit of anxiety during a weekend.  The usual ebb and flow will return and the bullish pattern that has been building has not been altered by this little jiggle.

Silver has possibly entered into a bull cycle anyway and this was just some plan to push it before it's ready.

Update:
We did see a small sales spike mainly late in the weekend, but nothing crazy.
This morning we are hearing that the Royal Mint are not accepting bullion orders, and premiums are being increased just about everywhere.
We have managed to cover all bullion coins sold, but who knows when we will get deliveries!
We have also increased many of our premiums on bullion items, but only by enough to cover the increased premiums we are being asked.
Currently bars have not been affected, but it could spill over to them.
Gold:Silver ratio came down to below 63, so it has halved since I was "pushing" it at 126.
Platinum still looks cheap.

The silver market is a lot smaller than most people might think, it is smaller than many stocks. Apple could buy all the silver in the world.

There are 400 million ounces in the total silver inventory. Not all of that 400 million ounces are available to deliver but let's say they are.
400 million x $30 = $12 000 million = $12 billion.

A single billionaire could buy all the silver on the COMEX.
PS - i wonder if the electronic giants are getting a bit wobbly about this and are in the process of trying to buy all the silver in the world - whilst they can still afford to.
