Just received this 5oz silver Zodiac coin direct from the Perth Mint.
Very straight forward ordering and amazing quality.
Only slight problem is the FedEx delivery guy forgot to charge me the import duty.
Not sure what to do about the 20% import duty shall I send it direct to Jeremy Hunt at number 11?
wow gorgeous coin! Great colouring

The occasional coin will appreciate the vast majority won't
of those that do appreciate, is it just random? in that collectors happen to like the design for whatever reason?
Or do they sometimes do limited mintage that drives the price up? -
Hi all,
I was interested in your thoughts regarding the non-bullion precious metals that the Royal Mint produces- what drives their value? Is it mintage figures, design, being part of collector sets etc?
Interested in starting collecting but worried that it will be a big loss maker over time... -

Beautiful coins in 22kt Rose Gold, .999 Gold & the traditional Silver. 2021 was the first year of issue of Gold Sixpences- we’ll have to wait several years to find out the actual mintages of the Gold Sixpences, but I suspect the RM won’t have produced very many.
A nice Monarch, and also to complete my Platinum Jubilee collection, a Gold 50p Set- an extremely low issue of just 70 Sets. Maximum mintage of the Bergdahl Obverse is just 580 and only 170 of the Jody Clark Obverse- the other 100 issued in the Gold Annual Set. -

Been going since 2017 and for those who may remember, there was a mint error of the coin denomination. Should’ve been 5 cedis however it had a face value of 100 cedis by mistake. Also included a pic of the rest of the series

1842-W (Lille) - mintage of 21,600
1842-A (Paris) - mintage of 70,666
Unbelievably low total mintage of 20 Franc coins for the year 1842 of under 100,000 pieces.
