  2. I bought what I thought 1/10th cook island Au coin. Bought 2 infact from the same guy on eBay, anyway I listed one here and was alerted by Ash and one other individual about the coin and how it was not 1/10th gold but something ridiculously smaller then 1/10. Luckily for me I got my money back Minus the cost of SD postage but it was a great lesson learnt. The guy selling was not playing ball but eBay sided with me thankfully.
  3. I don't think this exists in today's world.
  4. Pretty sure it's the same with 10oz queen's beasts coins
  5. 5g britannia bar - ash 2020 double Sov + 2021 half sov - Trp Silver shot and 1oz Trafalgar Square - stackerp5 All bought before the major dip, yet still at a competitive price. Thank you to all 3
  6. Just out of experience I previously sent a coin using SD with the small envelope, it went missing for a month before eventually being delivered. My guess that was because it was a small size it may have got stuck/put aside untill it reappeared. A large packet/envelope has less chance of it being stuck in a sack or being put aside without it being noticed. It is a waste of material but I think it provides a much greater chance of it being delivered safe and sound to the intended recipient.

The 20oz gold stack, Can you talk to us a bit more about it? Did it do well for you, how easy was it to liquidate if so did you do it once ? Any interrogation from the banks as to where the deposit came from ?
  9. Is it just a silver coin gold plated? Any chance of the link
  10. Some incredible deals on the forum today, especially on the gold front
  11. I believe they will get hit in a crisis, I think the safe heaven aspect will kick in only after the dust begins to settle. I'm just a novice so I can't really give you and answer on the other 2 questions

    Silver Premiums

Right now on the forum it is cheaper to get the 1oz coins then the bigger weight bars or coins. Good buying opportunity in my opinion to get silver at £25ish an oz
  13. @MattyBoo The forum is safeguarded by its members and the moderation team. A sniff of a scam or wrong doing will quickly be flagged up and appropriate action will get taken. You can check a members feedback and badges to get an understanding of their credibility. I would say 98% of the forum are genuine and sound individuals, the 2% get found out and never come back
  14. What do we do with the silver we have in an financial crisis? Let's not forget that gold and silver will also be hit just like everything else, we just hope it will be to a lesser extent. For me the metals has 2 outcomes when it comes to exit strategy. 1) sell it on at a higher price 2) exchange it for other goods
  15. Would they make a bullion version for 2021 for the 1/4oz? I have 2016,18,19,20 in 1/4oz format bullion would be nice to keep it going. I'm a novice when it comes to proof coins but would be nice to see more frosting on the coins, to me it looks very similar to the bullion versions
  16. @ilovesilverireallydo is selling a Pamp bar which is rare. It's the Rosa design and for the middle East market. At £485 I think it was I would be a buyer if the funds allowed. 10g Pamp Rosa bar design .
  17. I started back in 2017ish after hearing gold going to £10k by Jim Rickards🎣. I am glad I got into PM's as it allows me to save as I was and still am terrible at saving. As Stu mentioned earlier you will be surprised at how a stack can quickly grow just with small purchases a month. Key is to stay in your lane and buy what you can whenever you can. I bought a standard bullion Sov at £360 which is at a loss ATM but also have bought a standard bullion Sov and £240. My point here is to pay little attention to the daily fluctuations and allow the bigger picture to take over. Gold and silver are long term plays and if your happy about that sort of time scale I believe in the metals.
  18. Do you mind sharing the total damage @ady
  19. Good to hear thanks @Midasfrog
  20. I have previously taken this option but the risk was all on me the buyer. I have opted for this option with a g bar aswell as a Sov. Sandwiched between cardboard it is a risk worth taking once in a while.
