  1. There will always be a human cost to Gold mining.
  2. Pandas are not really that popular here on the forum for some strange reason. A mini date run may attract someone who will be willing to pick it up in one go but it's highly unlikely in my opinion. Your best bet is to sell them individually. With regards to prices on here at the forum I would say 1g about 70ish, 3g £165ish and 8g £400 ish. I too would keep them in the OMP.
  3. 1/10 Panda from Morezone, 100g silver bars From Mom.Metals Thank you to you both

    Too early to sell?

The price of gold has dramatically increased primarily due to the geopolitical tension in Ukraine. In my circumstance I have a mentality to buy and hold for the long term, the stuff I bought of you Roy i still have. On the flip side you can maybe sell now and buy at a cheaper price later on but really you don't go down this avenue with physical, the paper markets are more ideal for this type of venture. I have a side pile of small bits of physical which I will use to sell as and when I need to £ or to trade with other members. With regards to London, I love it. It's absolutely mental but so am I, I'm tied down to the place due to my job but admittedly I do see its downside. When it comes to retirement i will look at the cards on the table and reevaluate. I would like to seek a base elsewhere when I'm sitting back smoking on a Cuban 🤞
  5. Ahh welcome, What a lovely pair of sovs you have bought good choice

    Interesting.
  7. The guy has expressed his dissatisfied experience with Bleyer which I feel he is entitled to do. This is a forum and yes granted this particular thread being the first is not great but imo well within his "rights". Folks come and go here on the forum, they come for the information or the deals and then the disappear. Being impartial to this and having read what both parties have stated it is clear now Bleyer have gone out of their way to satisfy this customer and have exhausted multiple options to provide the 'customer service' from the failed sale I think the individual wanted to vent his/her frustration at the fact that sale did not go through that is all. Most of us know there is always 2 sides to a story so initially I personally took the start of the thread with a pinch of salt. Maybe I am wrong about the individual within their right to make the thread, please reply
  8. Surly they will give your money back?
  9. Pay little attention to the price, during 2021 the price was fustrating to witness and be a part of, it would take a lot of small incremental upward price movements to hit round figures but then gets smacked down in an afternoon session. Now we have seen good upward movements on the back of this Ukraine war/crisis . To the newbies focus on the weight and not the price, it will be a different mentality from the new herd who are entering the precious metals market.
  10. I have a few 1g bars available, send me a message if you are interested I will try and beat the dealers prices
  11. At the end of the month when you receive your pay cheque it is like finishing a marathon, (not that I have ever done one, but you know what I mean). As a result of this we want to treat ourselves and buy something/spend the fiat on something that will provide some gratification for the hard work we put in during the month that has gone by. In a way we cant really fault people that go out and enjoy their funds as they are entitled to spend their money however they wish. I will hold my hands up and confess, I used to spunk money, but with age and maturity the dynamics behind living change each year. Pms enabled me to treat myself with the paycheque in a more sustainable way. in terms of savings, I equate the metals as a savings mechanism. At the end of the day life is short, I have admiration for the folks that go out and enjoy their life with their funds.
  12. hahah, quality. Welcome to the forum, you wont be disappointed.
  13. I have had a few HGM orders cancelled on me in the past pretty sure due to pricing error. Did I stop buying from them after they cancelled their sale on me tbh no I didn't. Whilst getting some milk and a lottery ticket I confused the Sainsburys cashier as I wanted a £5 note back, long story short she gave me back too much change £10 extra to be precise. I am fortunate to be working, have a roof over my head, food etc so without hesitation I alerted the cashier and gave the £10 back. Would Sainsburys feel that £10 hit on their P&L account absolutely not, Having said all of this, if I was to stumble across a pile of gold coins and not being able to find the rightful owners, the coins are going straight into my pocket. In response to your scenario I would put the order through and alert them during the order stage in the 'Notes' part.

    Buy Gold or wait

no one can time the market, yes there maybe some pull back but if your a buyer for the long term you don't need to worry about timing you purchase as you can cost average over a period of time. As I speak there is a 2019 1oz gold krug available for spot on the trade section. For me I would say pull the trigger whenever and where ever
  15. What a shame, I was ready to buy up the amazon rain forest and then convert it into Buy To Let properties.
  16. I like Gareth Soloway. For some reason his analysis on the metals remind me the late Peter Hug.
