    Carded or not

if its already carded I would say keep it in the card, it may attract a small premium on top when it comes to bullion.
  2. here on the silver forum is the best place to get your silver at a decent price. Look at the trade section and you will find prices way below than what you pay from a dealer with VAT factored in.
  3. Starts at 09.30 @Mrpound this Sat for the London coin fair
  4. 10 oz completer coin £283 mark from Martin at the silver trader
  5. Yh I would say so. Just give a bit of time for the dealers to unpack and display their items. I would say between 08.30 and 09.30 is a sweet spot.

    Group Buying

Do you miss the BYB group orders ?
  7. Ideally better to turn up in the morning, as by early afternoon it does tend to quieten up quickly and dealers start to pack thier stuff away.
  8. Last time I went you just turn up and it was a £5 on the door.
  9. I'm not 100% sure what the outcome of the blister pack will be years on from now but I do think it will not be as aesthetically pleasing as it was brand new. That is the case for most material items lol.
  10. Regarding blister packs of any sort a brief concern of mine is that they will deteriorate over a period of years (long term) The colours will fade over time, the thin sheet of protection similar to that of a brand new phone screen will peel and curl up at the corners. A very nice brand new item is shiny and definitely a trophy piece at the start but like anything it will show signs of 'wear and tear' no matter how well you protect/store it over time. Any seasoned stackers out there that can share their experience with any packaged bullion items?
  11. I blame the silver squeeze to an extent, ag hits or is just shy of 30usd then gets smacked down 4+ bucks the following weeks and months. It was great to follow at the time as I thought silver would move similar to AMC / GameStop momentum. Wishful thinking. The wall Street bets guys / silver squeeze did bring in a lot more eyeballs into the silver scene and physical silver I'm sure will have its day.
  12. 3g 40th anniversary Panda X 3 from Chards. Will probably just keep the one
  13. Do you mind if I ask you what the damage was on that ? Also did it come from the US?
  14. @Roy What indicators led you to come to the right conclusion?

    2002 half sovereign

That would be a buy in my opinion for that price not too far off from a bullion Sov.
  16. Did I hear correctly 3 internet rate hikes next year @HerefordBullyun? I tuned out now from his speech. Same old ish
  17. The secondary market for these 2022 proofs seem to be on a slight decline. Not that it bothers me but has the hype died down drastically ?
  18. I'm a fan of Scottsdale mint, I would say they are more on the premium end of the price range. They have great products and is a well established mint. I am a huge fan of the 10oz stackers and 20oz bars. When there is an opportunity to buy the coins at a good price i would go for them. The coins with the Scottsdale omp is nice sight.
  19. 3g 2022 gold panda (my only date run) X 4 bullion sovs at least X 2 to 5 tubes of silver Brits Plan is to be more disciplined in 2022 so I'm going to try my best to lay of the purchases as best as I can with the exception of the above.
  20. Thanks once again for organising@trp have a great Christmas all,
  21. Yes BYB offers an intermediary service which you can utilise. Alternatively you can put an established buyers mind at ease buy offering to send the coin via SD first and take payment once delivered. Slight risk on your part but established forum members will honour their debt without hesitation.
  22. 2 questions you got to have clarity on is What to buy Where to buy My answer for your £1k budget would be initially to spend the full k on sovs and the cheapest possible sovs. Or 1/4oz Brits if you can buy at a reasonable premium. As to where, I would go to the main dealers first time round (Atkinson's, bullion by post, chards, Hatton garden metals etc) Welcome to the forum
  23. From our Xmas raffle. Thank you to @Grant for the coins, love them. Thanks to @trp for organising the raffle again this year.
