  1. It is the first 10oz britannia coin, I don't think it will be a collectable, it's nice to have in a 10oz format but there are other better looking 10oz coins on the market
  2. You have popped your 🍒, nice work. Great coin the mapple, one of the first if not the first .999 au coins to hit the market. Buying on the forum has been worth the weight in gold for me. I am glad you shared your experience as other newcomers may gain confidence and a better understanding of TSF.
  3. Depends on your budget. Tbh any silver brand new is shinny and will be well received irrespective of the weight and value. As a gift just make sure it's shinny 🤣
  4. I got a 1/4oz Brit if your looking to buy soon. I will aim to beat the dealers price. Sovs as mentioned above are very similar to a 1/4 oz, in terms of weight but can be bought with a lower premium. fYI
  5. The 1/4ozs will in Theory appeal to a wider audience when it comes time to sell. The 1/4ozs will come at a premium over the 1oz but you should be able to get that premium back over time. My opinion is to get the 1/4ozs inside the locker first.
  6. Silver is just not moving as it did before. To think you can pick up a silver Brit (a once high in demand item )for £22-£23 delivered is crazy. The appetite of the forum has dramatically slowed down for silver, a once raging fire is just a mere flame ATM. Hopefully it can pick up by the end of the year. Gold on the other hand in my experience has proved to be much more liquid and ideal in a very slow market.
  7. 30 USD Ag pshhh. The price seems to struggle going up atm but easily gets smacked to the downside. My guess is towards to the of the decade
  8. Just throwing a figure out there not knowing the costs of the components, labor etc. £60-£150 mark depending on whether it can guarantee results.
  9. Just give it time and the mass market will be filled with some 10oz greyhounds. @BleyerBullion any idea whether you will be getting any in and if so roughly when ?
  10. I love this guy, I will check out the interview. Thanks 👍
  11. If anyone comes across any stock can you please provide the link on this thread. Would be fab to wrap up the 10oz qb series in the custom made box by Alun.
  12. An estimation from me would be between £1390 and £1460.
  13. It's a sad story, to hide the sovs and not being able to enjoy the fruits of his labour is pointless as harsh as that may sound.
  14. @Pampfan what's your take on the bar Itself ?
  15. Thanks, choosing your own funds is a valid point. With the AVC it will come out of your gross pay so there is a slight tax incentive, however I don't think I will be able to choose the funds.
  16. Has anyone paid in extra to their company pensions via Additional voluntary contributions (AVC) if so so would you recommend doing so? If I was to pay in extra via the AVC the company I work for would NOT match the contribution so I'm questioning to my self whether it is worth doing as there will be management fees and charges associated with the AVC . Any help or thoughts please do comment. Thank you
  17. I'm sure a few of us also bought the quarter Oz Pt when they had it for £300 a while back. Good company no issues when I placed an order.
  18. I would agree with Paul. Take half and say absolutely nothing. Test the waters then do another trip
  19. I have only been in the metals scene for a brief period but it is definitely apparent to me how the value holds and the purchasing power is protected somewhat. Thanks for sharing.

  21. I bought what I thought 1/10th cook island Au coin. Bought 2 infact from the same guy on eBay, anyway I listed one here and was alerted by Ash and one other individual about the coin and how it was not 1/10th gold but something ridiculously smaller then 1/10. Luckily for me I got my money back Minus the cost of SD postage but it was a great lesson learnt. The guy selling was not playing ball but eBay sided with me thankfully.
