Something a bit different arrived today - a proclamation from 1806 detailing the new coinage for Napoleonic Italy. I thought I had completed the typeset of these coins but it appears I have one missing 😧

A delightful Victoria 1838 Maundy Set, first year for Victoria Maundy Set.
Also received today a 50 years of the 50p Culture Set. The Royal Mint excelled themselves with the overall presentation.
This last photo for scale in terms of that tiny little Maundy Set

Bought some more bullion coins to add a decent amount of weight to my stack .
I sold a lot of my bullion coins in September when spot was around £1500 because I needed cash now I am buying back at £1340 to replace them . 💪😉

Received a proof George VI 1952 gold South Africa £1.
It certainly doesn’t have the wow factor of a 1937 Sov but still a nice coin nonetheless (and a damn sight more friendly on the bank balance).
Still looking for a 1966 Rhodesia gold £1 if anyone has or knows of one.

Here is the 1923 South African mint proof sovereign, this one graded PF65 by PCGS. Mintage of only 655 coins.
I have been on the lookout for one of these for a while now. Thanks Eric @drakesterlingfor this one, I will be keeping this a core part of my proof sovereign collection.
