There are lower limits on redemption. i don't remember the lower limits but they aren't something huge

Very interesting, thanks sixgun.  I'll try to find out what the minimum redemptions are (or if you find out let us know).  Reasonable physical redemption is the only way to truly keep things honest imo.

There 1x KAG = 10g silver, 1x KWS = 1000 oz silver, 1x KAU= 1g gold and 1x KWG= 1kg gold. The W denotes wholesale coins. You can hold these coins on the Stellar blockchain network, (KVT's are held on the Etherium blockchain and the currency will be Stellar) you can just hold them, you can spend them, you can send them to someone else, or you can trade them through the German stock exchange

Thanks for the explanation sixgun.  Can someone who holds a digital coin convert that into a physical coin in any way?

  3. I like Greg Hunter, he does good interviews for the most part.  But I watched this hoping for some explanation of how Kinesis works and why it will be any different than promises to be "backed by gold", but it seemed more like a PR/sales pitch to me.  Getting people to accept a digital form of gold, especially those who understand how rigged the Comex system is, will require a lot of explaining and Trust.  I think whistleblower Andrew McGuire is there really to instill Trust.  I'm just not buying it yet, but maybe I'm still in the mindset "if you don't hold it you don't own it".  Will be interesting to see how things shake out anyway.

Nice set but it'll cost a lot to have them all conserved. You may well have your reasons but is it worth it?

Good question.  I think so, at least for me.  A few reasons:

    1.   NCS will most likely only choose to do anything with about half the coins (I'm guessing here, I could be wrong, but in my dealings with them they are honest and aren't looking to stick me with conservation fees for nothing).

    2.  I really like the history behind the coins (Abdication crisis, 1936 was the year of 3 kings ). A short BBC article on George VI here

    3.  This is a really nice set.  I've seen others for sale that looked like they've been handled quite a bit.  This one looks like it just sat in a vault for 80 years.

    4.  I want to be able to pick them up and enjoy them without worrying that I'm damaging them (so slabbing them makes sense).

    5.  Eventually, when I go to sell them (or hand them down to my son), they will be every bit as nice as they are today.

Maybe not the best decision from a strictly financial standpoint, but its worth it to me.  I'll post pics when I get them back from NCS/NGC

From what I hear the 1/10th will have a mintage of 300 and the 1/4oz will have 500 but with Mexico it could be double or half.

Those are likely to be the two lowest mintage gold BU coins this year.

Darn, Numistacker must move markets (or bought them all for himself! :D ) Can't find the 1/10 anywhere on the usual online dealers (but did pick up a 1/4)
