Picked up a 1987 two coin proof Britannia set for a decent price. A firstfor me so looking forward to receiving them :-)

It was! However it was sold as 'proof design' rather than proof and was only £2 more than a new 2017 bullion sovereign so I guessed this was the likely reason. 

A couple of high seas medallions and a rather worse for wear 1980 proof sovereign.

I was planning on just picking up a random bullion but the price was close enough that I thought it was worth the extra couple, literally, of quid to see something a bit different. 

Picked up a 1980 proof sovereign from Atkinson's. It'll be my first gold proof coin so interestedto see it in the flesh.

More Ebay arrivals. 

Some more recent Ebay purchases. 1993 5 pound proof and three 1.1oz sterling silver proof medallions from the Mountbatten High Seas Collection, which I only bought as they were going for spot but I really like and will have to start collecting the other 97!

This months pick ups. 1982 half sov and a couple of silver crowns

In a similar vein to @prophet800 some recent ebay pick ups. All pre-1920.

1912 Half Sovereign from HGM. 

Nothing to exciting today, mostly some Maples. I did get some new (to me any way) coins. 2oz libertad, 1.5oz maple, and I really do like the elephant too. 

Austrian 1 Ducat. Nothing special but that wasn't a requirement ;-)

For my second gold purchase nothing too special. Just a restrike Ducat. I do really like the coat of arms on the reverse though.
