When did £29 notes become a good price for 1oz bullion. Now on almost 40pc above spot. Crazy times.

Im already signed up with him. Ive ordered 2 just for the metal content more than anything. I only really buy second hands so I'm used to dents, scratches and spots xD.
 

Yeah from what I've heard, all of his robin hood coins are extremely poor quality. I also believe he is still only accepting orders from existing customers although you may be able to get him to sign you up via emailing him! good price though! 

This is a common misconception about silver, many invest in silver to keep their wealth, not grow it. 
Remember, you haven't lost anything until you cash out, so if you can afford to hold it, do so until the time is right, one day silver will be worth more than you paid for it, whether that same money would be worth even more than that if it had been invested in something else is anyone's guess.

Got the coins today. Massive props to sharps Pixley! Ordered yesterday, got the coins today. 
I asked for a random sov, and a QE2 pre decimal sov. 
Got a 1980, and a 1965, both pretty much uncirculated. For £308, and £311.
They send them free too, special delivery. In slips, in a nice large velvet bag. 
Highly recommended. 

Sharps Pixley are still the cheapest I can find Sovereigns for. Currently £314.70 around 5.5% over spot. There might be better sovereign deals out there.
I received this one today, I emailed and asked for one of three years and they had one and sent it. Not bad for a bullion random date and good service.

Hi, guys, sorry to disturb you with a little maths.
When you will sell, really doesn't matter. You will have from dealer the same price per gram.
For example, if you want to sell at Atkinsons one sovereign,  they will pay you £299.23 : 7.32g pure gold = £40.87/g. 
                                                                           1oz Britannia, they will pay you.   £1271.26 : 31.1g pure gold = £40.87/g.        All these are today prices.
So, my advice is to buy what is more easy for you. I prefer sovereigns, are more affordable. Even if I have money for 1oz Britannia, I prefer 4 sovereign bundle from Atkinsons. Today price is £1288.10. Totally are 29.28g pure gold, this is £43.99/g, which is not bad, very close to £43.48/g for 1oz Britannia.

Out of the two, I’ve only ever ordered from Sharps Pixley and they were very good. Even sent specific year Sovereigns for me when I asked.
I could highly recommend Sharps Pixley but I can’t comment on ATS as I’ve never used them.

I think so. Ive brought some silver brits off them before and they seemed fine.
I think they tend to be cheaper for individual purchases but they don't seem to have a discount for buying multiples.
