Pre-owned Pamp 100g at Chards, works out around £27.50 p toz

My bars arrived on Tuesday - I also ordered a 1 oz Britannia gold bar at the weekend and both orders were delivered on the same day.  
They are really nice.  I'm particularly impressed with these minted gold bars, never having bought a gold bar before.  Part of me hopes that the RM doesn't release any more bars in the Great Engravers series with designs that I want to buy - for the sake of my bank balance!

The 1oz are flying out. They are adorably cute.

I am also very tempted. However I cant justify the price in my head having paid £200 per 10oz Britannia bar this time last year. I am sure that once the whisky gets flowing on Friday night then I will make an impulse purchase. 

How do you think this will work out at RM?

Haha I know that feeling!! But you’ve got to say to yourself that you’ve only ‘lost’ if you sell.

I got some bitcoin when it dipped last week... then it dipped a bit more 🤣 up and down like a Yoyo! Wish I'd listened to a fella at my work when he said get some about five years ago though 😬

I bought in too with a few 1oz bars.
These look too nice to pass.

I just grabbed two 1oz silvers for the stack 😀

Hopefully by March and certainly by September some form of trade deal will be in place and we can resume buying silver abroad compared to the UK.

Yeah, I was joking about the buying of actual physical uranium. When I saw it mentioned as possible stock I thought there's no way you can buy physical uranium, that's what nukes are made of. I'm no physicist but I'd probably give it a go. 

the US 10Y treasury yield is rocketing upwards and impacting the gold price, as is pound strength.
Now's a good time to pick up some more gold ! the gold silver ratio is lower at 64, but still favours silver also.
Its difficult to believe that this time last year, you got 125 ounces of silver for an ounce of gold (theoretically at least), and now its only 64oz.
 

In other news no one noticed silver has broke £20oz !

I've never been interested in Crypto but am tempted to stick a bit on BTC and Ethereum, I was going to see if there was a dip but not sure it's coming now 🤣

I dont think anyone knows, but I can see it dropping below the 1070 supports - maybe to 1700 or 1720. 
Especially as im watching bitcoin soaring to new highs & JP Morgan and other big firms have expressed interest in it. 
Flipping Elon Musk & other firms have not helped LOL. He has apparently already surpassed his own companies profits from the recent gains.  
Even think Barlays and Master card are thinking about it, don't quote me on that. 

What is encouraging is silver is holding and all commodities including uranium are soaring. 
I think even if bond yields go up gold will eventually catch up as it follows not necessarily being a commodity or that useful in batteries and tech. 
It will have its day, but I am starting to think that this is not the year.
The biggest change I can see is all the robin hood traders, so the markets are more emotional than ever.
The everything bubble will not last long. 
people will be kicking themselves they did not buy gold when or if it goes to £3-5000 & a pack of mince now costs £20.  

Im waiting and watching & diverting my attention to blockchain stock trading/investing. 
Which is possibly a little microcosm of what I have said above.
Who was it on here a few months back that said "its had its peak sell all your physical now"??
Glad I sold about 3oz recently now, wish i had off loaded all of it, if it carries on down over the next month. 
Not sure it was such a good idea selling my silver brits though. Oh well I assumed that the squeeze would bring it back to £15/oz.
