  1. If you’re new to collecting buy what you like.    I started off with pandas May have cost me more/Oz than bullion sovs but they look better and worth more than the price difference now.   Just don’t get ripped off with internet marketing. Also don’t get caught up with some of the hype here. Just because other are pumping things up doesn’t mean you have to buy

  2. You have an old web site think it was something like taxfreegold that was a go to for just about all coins information but about 4 years ago it stopped working on the phone which was disappointing as learnt so much from it.      Chards is my go to but if I was new atkinsons web site is a lot easier to navigate on a phone

  3. Funny that I’ve had 4 conversations in last couple days about banks and many companies and individuals doing cashless.  All 4 said that they have never seen so much cash floating about for payments. The banks charging so much to deposit cash is making a bigger and bigger black economy in their eyes.

interesting in my local town, with  the takeaways, 4 take cash only 4 cards only and 2 take both.    Not sure if that’s the same everywhere but it’s what’s happening here

What do you mean by realistic? What you would like to pay or what a dealer would like from you?

Bullion is dealer wise about £2k  Graded  about £2.5k so add on what you think for proof. Might get for less might be a lot more, how long is a piece of string?

I’m a seller.   But at £2500 I’d be a buyer.    A realistic price is some that’s fair to the buyer and the seller.    No point asking £4500 if can get a PF70 for less but not interested in selling below issue price either

  5. I find it hard to believe that they sold 750 4 coin sets which is a royal mint exclusive and they haven’t sold out the 5 coin set which will be sent to dealers aswell.      Anyone know how many 5 coin sets were available from the on the royal mint website from the outset?

  6. Decided against the 5 set, just a gut feeling but 1200 and 1000 bu not sure the secondary market will take it.         only way it will is if the flippers that arrived over covid have burnt fingers and they don't come up in such large numbers as in the past
