Hello, dear silver friends,
I am very much in love with these old silver bars from Heraeus, they are patinated by hand, so it is an antique finish and timelessly beautiful. I received these yesterdays after a long wait.
Greetings from Maxe

Just been informed it achieved an MS63 grade by NGC. Pretty happy with that. Will post a few pics when I get it back.

Today I received a tube of Goddess Europa from @GreatBritishBullion. I normally only stack Britannia for a store of wealth and collect others for my collection being from the UK. But I recently bought the Eagle, Maple, Philharmonics, Kangaroo and Krugerrand and I thought I would buy the low premium tube to give me a feel for the Goddess Europa which is a cheap and low cost stacker for storing wealth from a private mint. They were a good variety at a good price. I must say I do love the look and feel and symbolism of this inspirational bullion from a new and small mint though my favourite are still the classical and traditional ones!

MrTT reacted to ChrisSilver in Shall we give away 2x 5oz bars?
A bit of fun.
For the next large TSF prize draw to advertise and bring awareness of the forum, which will be in around a month or two. Should we double the prize and have 2x 5oz silver bars up for grabs, 2 different winners each winning a 5oz silver bar. If you think we should then like this post.
If this post gets 100+ likes we will give away 2x 5oz silver bars. (I have set this target deliberately low so that it is easily obtainable)
If this post reaches 200+ likes, we will add a small bonus

38,000 tonnes in 24hrs into a Loomis Vault 😳
Of course it couldn’t possibly have had anything to do with this spike down..... Nothing to see here folks.

Back in May the LBMA made an "accounting error" that overstated its silver by 3,863 tonnes. NOW the CME/COMEX have made an "accounting error" of 38,000 tonnes (!) of silver:

MrTT reacted to SlowFrog in 999.9 Gold Colour
Hi!
I purchased 2 Britannia gold coins recently, both minted in the same year. I'm relatively new to this so I was surprised to see they differed quite significantly in colour given that they're 'pure' gold. Each coin came from different bullion dealers - 2 of the most respected here in the UK so I don't for a moment doubt their authenticity. I am however curious as to why they look so different so any thoughts/insights would be much appreciated!
It's way more noticeable in real life but in the following 2 photographs, the coins switch positions when they're flipped over. One is more gold-like, and they other more reflective/silvery.
Yellow coin = 31.14 grams
Paler silvery/metallic coin = 31.25 grams

A new addition to the family, a Whippet puppy named Mink, much to the dismay of our existing Whippet, Fox who is taking his time to adjust.
Anyway, I’ve taken time off work this week to help out settling in the new addition and it’s given me time to snap a photo or two.
Today arrived the 10 coin Silver 1/4oz Reverse Frosted Beasts set. After regretfully flipping all my Gold and Silver Beasts over the last several years, this set is a lovely momento of the series.
The latter two photos depict the meeting of the clan- the tiny Beasts alongside the Silver Proof 5oz, 2oz & 1oz Completer’s and the Proof 1oz Gold.
All you Beast fans, enjoy! 😉
