  1. I occasionally consider it but then as Pete mentions, due to the margins and tax I don't feel I'm getting a good deal and but more gold or silver instead. There was once a quarter oz pt coin in the lcs when I was there but just isn't something he said he sees a lot of and doesn't get many people asking for it.
  2. Hey mate welcome Enough for what? Depends what your plan is and as others have mentioned what else you're doing. With 100 oz even if silver were to 10x in price it might be a nice little tickle one day but not going to be retirement kind of money.
  3. Would recommend 👍🏽 reliable and easy to use. Many platforms have a demo option to get a feel for how they work too
  4. For trading (spread betting) I mostly use IG
  5. Always thought this year of the dog coin looks a mess
  6. Has @DuncanWylieWilsongot a photo of the coloured version? 😂
  7. There are often plenty of buyers at the top of a market, when the smart money is getting out. Buying low and selling high whilst it seems obvious most people don't want to be that person buying silver/property/stock when it has fallen a lot and there's a lot of negativity about the asset. But when everyone seems to be making money for something the fomo kicks in and finally they get invested when the price has already moved so far because "it just keeps going up"
  8. So that's why my barber has a set of bolt cutters on the bench. Just lean forward a bit luvvie then I can do your fringe with the angle grinder
  9. Who said £2000 an oz was farfetched? It's here 😂
  10. Great story and welcome. If there are any legitimate shops selling legitimate oz gold coins for those prices today let me know and I'll go and empty them out 😂
  11. I'm sure my hairdresser has a pair of bolt cutters on her just incase Alright luv I'm just going to do your fringe with the angle grinder, chin up
  12. “- Simon Gruber: John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's 13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question? - John McClane: Yeah, I got a deal for you. Crawl out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your a$$ - Simon Gruber: How colorful.”
  13. Welcome to the forum. If you go to the relevant trade section eg EU, UK etc and then to the relevant section eg ungraded or non precious metal etc then you should be able to do it there. Just set the "prefix" to wanted
  14. I've used multiple times. Very impressive service, always quick deliveries.
  15. Yeh I understand there's value to the pleasure of owning certain pieces also but I like to keep things simple
  16. If I saw a qb priced the same as a brit I'd almost certainly take the qb especially one of the earlier designs. I don't personally want to risk paying the premium and backdating now though paying a few hundred quid over spot. I did pick up a qb completer as it was about 7 quid more than a 2021 brit
  17. Yeh there are a few dealers that accept cc. The cc companies have an interest in reducing the opportunities for MS and of course ML
  18. Some of the dealers also sell jewellery... Do the sellers report a different code to the card companies if you bought bullion instead of a necklace for eg?
  19. Wonder what the biggest find that has been made and not been reported 😂
  20. Hi, welcome to the forum. You are in the right place
