Finally..... Even had a UPS event  where they said they attempted delivery,.. even when I was sitting and looking a the driver from my Office.... after some calls they brought them back..

100g Geiger to go with its 5g and 10g friends. Shame I missed the 50g the other day.

Thanks to @UnoWhofor this lovely Menai Gold One Pound for this great addition to my 2005 "loose change" collection. One upgrade to go to get a full set of 70's. There's only been 3 graded of the WWII so might be a while yet. 🙂


 

A nice collection of fractional QB and a big fat 1kg Proof! ... received in record time from gold silver. Got a few 2021 Brits too. 
But also thinking maybe I should followup with Goldsilver.be on the tarnish that is showing on my 2016 1kg proof Libertad... what would you do? Hmmm.
Like the big coin, not completely sold on poorly constructed box though.

For those of you that have purchased from Ash then you'll probably agree that the anticipation of the postage on the package can be just as exciting as the contents at times 🤣
I've also found out today just how hard it is to photograph a bloody proof coin...such a pest! 
Any faint marks you may see, appear to be on the cap or at least by my untrained eye anyway. 
Anyhoo my first 1/4oz Eagle and first proof.....I'm a happy chap.

I might get the fine wire wool and silver dip out to shine and spruce Victoria up a bit 😉 😂

Having managed to get my order confirmed for the US version of this set, I shut my eyes, pretended 'cost per ounce' was just a scary story told to frighten children and bought the UK version as well 
Have to say though, I really love it - not that many non Britannia/Lunar £2 one ounce coins out there.

2016 Last Round Silver Piedfort Pound   I consider it a catastrophe of cataclysmic proportions that this beautiful design was barely in general circulation before we were subjected to the dodecagonal coup with its repetitiously hideous usurper.   The reverse features the four heraldic beasts, as produced by the Royal Mint in the 2003 Pattern Set. The coin is divided into four sectors, showing the lion of England, the unicorn of Scotland, the stag of Northern Ireland and the dragon of Wales. The Imperial Crown of Saint Edward is depicted centrally with the initials of designer Bishop Gregory Kenneth Cameron in the field below the Welsh dragon.   This chunky fellow had a mintage of 3,449. Despite absurd claims by one mendacious member, the coin is unavailable at close to spot.
