I can hear this picture.

Sounds like radio static, distant explosions and air raid sirens

Is that cheese Kerrygold?

I think that common or garden 'stacking silver' has reached saturation point, yes.

Collectors will buy, and pay, regardless.

No chance Roy , I’m a member on the peasant hangout ,  so it will be Aldi  own brand , 50p a kilo stuff , and Aldi beans , but I went big time in the tinned fish , got that from Asda 👍

It's an interesting dish, nutritious and delicious nonetheless 😋

I like clowning around as much as the next guy, but this is an important subject that TSF itself has an interest in. Can I be a party pooper and ask that we talk more about that?

OK back to the subject at hand.

Any suggestions?

Do we abolish cheap silver and only buy above £25oz ( where it possibly should be )

Do we ignore the topic and continue buying as cheap as it gets whilst compounding the problem over and over.

Thoughts please.

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

And yet another thread to gauge the feeling on a serious subject that affects all silver stackers and collectors gets derailed

Thanks to all those who took part.

I will close this now

You may not be able to close it but at least we can unfollow it. It started well but is now just nonsense

I think Chris should automatically take 20% from silver sales then submit the total to HMRC

Collector coins and no stacking. Damage is done and a few just compounding the problem for the quick buck.

There has been occasions where standard bullion Brits for example were hitting the £27+ mark here on the forum.

Yes we are flooded with silver and gold for that matter here on tsf but I think come May June time there will be more appetite from buyers.

It's every dog, woman and child for themselves and to set a market rate for ag won't work. The cheapest will always prevail.

Summary - Santa and his horde of mass migrated worker elves have ruined the silver market by not paying VAT

An unnamed hero on an ancient BMX from 1690 is using the force and a touch of red diesel to fly them back to Lapland

The elves that escaped are busier than ever as Darth HMRC is buying silver from them to use as Christmas presents for every member of TSF

Silver is now free, everyone is happy, problem solved, except for one kid from Londonderry who still can't afford the free silver

I have got a cracking solution to this wonderful thread.

how about two trading sub forums? Like the graded versus ungraded we have now.

Free Market Trades

Trades more or less as it is now. Prices rise and fall based on free market supply and demand.

Price-Controlled Forum

This is where prices are limited to spot + 40 %, it is acheived to limiting quantities to 10 oz per month maximum, with one exception for the chap who wants to offload the monster box.

The ability to trade is based on your nationality, ethnic origin and where you went on holiday in the rolling 12 month period, based on the stereotypes associated with that specific region. These stereotypes will be determined based on an annual forum poll.

there - everyone should be happy !
