I'm glad someones having fun! Please, just "hurry up and buy!"

You do realise that you’ve likely just alienated 99.9% of the forum with that statement?

Not to mention your replies to your ridiculously inflated price.

100g silver 999 bar should sell for around £75 - £85 ish on the forum, currently.

Who are you quoting with your “hurry up and buy”, yourself?

A meme somewhere on the internet... Just some lightheartedness is all, or is that not allowed either? The price is just an Ask, you don't have to buy, and offers considered.

I do not believe you are a genuine seller, or you are prepared to take advantage of unsuspecting new members to this renowned forum.
Not going to happen.
Try E-Bay because you have lost all credibility and I’d be the first one to ring the bell of ‘Shame Shame Shame’.

Okay.

@TradesExchange  Posting this in the hope, if not the expectation, that it might be genuinely helpful...

This isn't a random marketplace, it's an actual community. This has a couple of consequences:

1. Members don't like it when you waste their time. There is a forum rule that you must state an asking price when making a (non-auction) sales thread. Setting an unrealistic asking price and inviting offers as an alternative is going against the spirit if not the letter of that rule.

2. People here will react badly if you treat them as "punters". In general members have a good understanding of the market and even newbies will be pointed in the right direction on this stuff. Posting unrealistic and bad deals, particularly for items which have a clear market price, is insulting our intelligence.

In future when you join a forum or other online community I'd suggest spending some time just reading it, to get a feel for the place, before jumping in.

Well said. Sadly the said member Judy isn’t getting it!
