🇬🇧🪙 For sale here are 12 old King George III crowns, all of which are 28.28 g of .925 silver! 🪙🇬🇧

At over 200 years old these King George III silver crowns are a nice chunk of history! While these aren’t the finest of grades, they are more than worthy of any collection centred around history! The 12 examples available are all dated 1819 or 1820. All dates are readable and most of the key details are still present. Some of the finer details are worn away, but really can’t fault these at the price, age and level of circulation.

There are three 1819 and nine 1820 examples here. If people select specific dates I will keep the post updated.

Like all the old coins that I sell I often wonder where such coins have been and what they have been used to buy or barter for. Twelve silver crowns during the reign of King George III would have been a serious chunk of change, that’s for sure!

All-in-all, these are serious chunks of historic silver and would make great additions to any English silver collection or historically-centred silver stack.
