I'm buying these soley as a collector.  I'm not fussed if they gain any premium in the future but as long as they're not crazy money, I will continue to buy.

And I think that's the way you have to approach it really. Then it comes down to a simple matter of desire and affordability.

Another good day wandering around antique centres.

Although I must be having a brain storm as I've just bought 16 x Queens 80th birthday coins by Westminster mint. 14 are 28.28g of sterling silver and 2 are 28.28g of .999 silver.

Buying coins tut tut!

But then the cost ....just £200. I'll leave someone else to work out how much under spot they are. ;)

interestingly they include coa's and original receipts from Westminster mint. Some poor young lady in 2008 and 2009 was forking out £52.98 per month per coin to "collect" this set.

Ouch!

Is that a picture of a 1/25 angel?  I didn't know you got them.  I thought it was only 1/20 up.  I considered buying the piedfort version a little while back but decided it was a bit small for a piedfort so the extra thickness wouldn't stand out so much.

Some very good condition 'scrap' two shillings for much less than spot (to go toward bulking out my treasure chest lol!) and an apmex seated liberty 1oz round for less than a quid over spot, seems they don't have any on their site so whether or not that's a good buy I dunno but I'm happy at less than £16 for an ounce considering some silly prices I've seen stuff going for recently on ebay.

including shipping and import? I've looked at a few 1/10s from the US but all GSP items have like $50 import plus shipping which is crazy

Will have it delivered to Florida and so no shipping and import at all. Will send it to NGC for grading.
