People keep saying dippy and I've got that Right Said Fred song going round my head now! Deeply Dippy... 😁

I'm sure you're too sexy for that.

The Sovereign is the quintessentially British coin.  It has a German queen on the front, an Italian waiter on the back, and half of them were made in Australia.

Duh! forgot about that one... yeah, crazy money for little bits of plastic, I remember buying them for £1.99 a pop with my pocket money.  Happy with my vinyl caped ootini though, is as high as I go value wise with my set.

Likewise, can't quite believe we're still hovering around £1,700, at least premiums are still down keeping costs similar last year for a Sov.

But my invisible bitcoin, is going to half in size and double in value, a friend told me

Gold takes us to the moon for sure 👍 but hold on tight Bitcoin will take us the rest of the way to Mars.

Stack some Gold and stack some Alt coins + Bitcoin for good measure

You need to leave some of these in your safe!

Or, spray paint your silver, the gold paint probably holds out against inflation better. 😁

There is a story of hanging a monkey in Hartlepool.

It is said to have occurred during the Napoleonic Wars in the early 19th century

The story goes that a French ship was wrecked off the coast of Hartlepool, a town in northeast England.

The only survivor was a monkey, dressed in a French naval uniform, which was mistaken by the locals for a French spy.

Being unfamiliar with what a Frenchman looked like, the townspeople concluded that the monkey must be a Frenchman.

The monkey was then put on trial by the townspeople and subsequently sentenced to death by hanging.

It is said that the monkey was hanged on the beach or from the mast of the wrecked ship.

The story of the Hartlepool monkey has become a part of local folklore and has been retold in various forms over the years.

It is often used as a humorous anecdote to illustrate the supposed ignorance or gullibility of the townspeople.

That’s nothing! The town of Middleton in Manchester has a pub named “The Moonraker” or similar. Named not after the James Bond film but after the dumb locals who, on a full moon 🌝 got out their garden rakes to try to make the demon moon in the local pond go away 🤦‍♂️

Middletonian’s are known as Moonrakers to older folk in Manchester 😂

Muppets! Must go Back to the 1500’s this story but it stuck.
