Not sure why anyone wants these prices, fine if you are looking to exit gold but surely a slow and steady rise should be what the majority of this forum wants

Probably true but it will go back down at some point soon. A bit of volatility is exciting for the guys here and this gives an opportunity for some profit taking if you have the nerve to do it🤔

We are just enjoying seeing one of our investments doing well. I'm half expecting it to be back down again in a few weeks and just having a laugh along the way really 😁

If folks are exiting and have been stacking for a decade or longer then sure they can liquidate now and make a good return. Depends on individual circumstance I guess. 
 
Still a long way to go and I reckon it will dip again soon. As far as purchasing it won’t bother me to purchase now or tomorrow. 
 

The only way is up - long term objectives!

Don't get me wrong, I am torn when I look at the price going silly, just makes me nervous about buying if something I really want comes up

I will sit on my hands for a couple of weeks and wait to see where the expected dip takes us when it happens I think, or at least wait till it stabilises

My first sovereign was £192 (sigh) 😔

I have bought some of the more expensive sovereigns on the list lately. I do try to keep my average price per sovereign under the price of a bullion sovereign so price jumps help me keep to this whilst spending more on the rarer ones I need for the collection. And its always nice to shout, "TO DA MOON"
