Ever since I had my first piedfort pound proof silver I have been in love with how nice they actually are. Been saving as many as I can from melt piles regardless of condition. been trying to grab the normal size proof ones too though it seems piedfort get scrapped more than the standard ones. 
 
Might antique the lot one day as they have marks etc anyway, might look nicer.

First day of release and my daughter is queuing outside the central bank in Athens! The two 2020 silver coins celebrating the 2,500 years from the battle of Thermopylae and the naval battle of Salamis.
 

 

I have decided you lot are an unsavoury, bad influence....so far this week.. 2 sovereigns (via 1817Karl), 2017 athena owl niue, colourised 2019 lunar pig and a 2013 Philharmonic...yes I know some randoms coz I like them.

Came in today- thanks to @PolarPanda for the Gold fractional Libertads; @Shinus73 for the Silver Libertad, @AndrewSL76 for the beautiful Krugerrand; @Jimmock for the Britannias and @GoldElliott for the USA & México coins. 

We shouldn't lose sight of the fact that gold is still up massively from £1145 at the start of the year.  Before the brown stuff started connecting with the fan a couple of weeks ago, the trend was about £5 increase per week so even if it drops back down to £1200 we'd still be in a good place.  Also remember that the higher the price, the more expensive stuff becomes to buy in fiat.  £10k gold would be truly amazing from a psychological standpoint for all us stackers, but the shine would quickly fade when see that a Warburtons Toastie loaf is now about £75.. 

Me too - and then the shopkeeper tells me to put them down. It must be the pirate hat that puts them off. ☠️

Had a beautiful 50 Pesos but I sold it to backyard bullion in the summer, now I’m stacking again and buying back all the coins that I loved and sold last round.

1 oz silver Ark 2020, 5 oz silver Ark 2020, and one of the very last 1/4 oz gold Ark 2017.

Collected today
