heres my first 2022 sovereign so happy with it, it fazed out the pink aspect, lovely design in my opinion, just to be quicker on the draw in future and not go down the major collectible route.

Today I received, a couple of bullion Sovereigns from @1stsovereign. Nothing overly collectible, just simple honest bullion examples to go towards a date set. Thanks!

My Kooaburra gold 1/10th’s collection is becoming pricey, as I’m using EMK (wish I could find a U.K dealer but several enquiries drew a blank 😔)
Still, just love Kook’s in any form and this is the cheapest way of date running in gold for my kids.

Finally got my replacement Gothic Crown Victoria back from the RM, this one looks good to be fair

Stunning set of coins recceived today. Shame about the quality. 😭 
Missing frosting around Rims and dings on the QA, missing frosting and black bits on rim of Portrait but portrait herself looks stunning though. 
Still looks stunning as a set.
In 2 minds to keep or try for exchange. 

A 1878S AU 58 from @Colnago it’s been very conservatively graded imo. Possibly 7/7.  
 
for comparison the 1870 die 123 has been graded MS63
 

A very nice 1866 London half sovereign. Common coin but looks to be a good grade.

A maelstrom of delightful metal today.
Thank you @Ducat916 for the 5oz Gothic Crowns.  I returned to the RM and opted for a refund on my 10oz Gothic’s due to poor quality- these beautiful 5oz examples are a fantastic substitute.

The Four Generations Crown from Chards is another step nearer my Crown run 👍 
I already have a Jubilee Quarter Ounce but I couldn’t resist a PF70 graded example for only a little over issue price, at an eBay auction, not sure about the label, jury is out.
Also received is a Platinum Jubilee Silver Proof stamp cover- only 200 issued by the Royal Mint. And finally, a 1970 Proof Coin Set featuring the last issues of pre- Decimal Coinage & a lovely King George V Silver Jubilee medal. 

Thanks to @AgD and @sovereignsteve who proved the old adage if you don’t ask, you don’t get works. These nice 2005 Australia proof sovereign’s have turned up last few days for me.

The  2017  SOTD sovereign cost £504 at launch and is now approx £900 raw with a mintage of  1817 , the 2022 SOTD  on pre order cost me £681 with a mintage of  1200  , this coin to sovereign collectors is special and i feel very lucky to be able to add it to my collection. 😀
