I consider myself extremely fortunate to have coins that are about as perfect as I think they can be.

Agree for gold. Silver has the downside that it may milk spot in a very ugly way.

Someone said before that the system seems to allocate you a spot when it activates at 9.00. I was waiting on a tablet from 8:30 but opened a page on my computer at 9.00. The computer was 300 odd places ahead of the tablet in the queue.

Might be to ensure that there's a sellout prior to the cost of minting. Covid likely to slow shipping as well.

At least we should start to get some reference sales. At the moment it feels like a speculative bubble. Is there actually a long term demand for this or are flippers selling to flippers.

Covid delayed release. I think it was originally set for November.

Pretty impressive mark up. I wonder what the dealer price was ~£125ish? At £2200 excluding VAT that would be over 2k on each coin. There's at least 10 coins in stock so an easy £20,000 profit if they sell.
That said, the price is more than a raw Una which seems misplaced.

I've not heard of anyone doing it deliberately but I guess there's an incentive given the price difference between PF69 and PF70. For a silver Una its several thousand. Easy to swap your 69 for someone's 70 before shipping.

Yeah but I think and could be wrong, the 1st tier resellers have to take (buy) every coin that RM push out. I also understand that there is a 'market' between resellers, i.e. a 2nd tier reseller. So perhaps it not that mint but just the reseller chain pushing up prices and deals are done before release.

I don’t want to give the royal mint too much credit yet as the coins not shipped and qc may be off BUT they should be given credit for putting up all 4 coins on the website this morning. They could sell out 10 times over without going online but everyone here had the opportunity to get hold of one and 3 of the 4 purchased by people on this thread. Time will tell now if they honour all orders and quality control has been sorted. So far well done the royal mint

Just for clarity, as coins are submitted with grading services like PCGS and NGC, they are listed on forms. If the person you instruct to grade for you confirms the relevant submission number, then you know this before the coin is graded and so switching is difficult. If the service provider is reluctant to share this information and the coin is not rare or from a large recent mintage, then consider this an issue.
This is going off topic now. Apologies.
We should start a new topic for grading results for the Three Graces....I can do this once the coins are received if no one else does. I can share the updates as the coins go through the process.
Back to the Three Graces!! (sorry!)

I assume RM doesn't include anything in their commercial contracts requiring dealers to sell at RRP or below. Dealers are happy to sell you something that drops 50% in value when you walk out the door but not something that's going to double in price. Same thing happens with Rolex watches.

Quite likely. As I understand it RM run the billing addresses as well as the delivery address to check for multiple orders. Hopefully you'll be lucky.

They've removed all reference to them now. Makes me wonder if they saw the resale ebay prices and pulled them.
