As it is my first coin sale on TSF (sold something else 😀), I do apologies if I have missed anything.
 
I have the below beauty for sale. Looking for some loving home for Fafnir 2 x 1oz coin.
What can I say about it? Germania Mint, meaning one of the most recognized mints around the world, which creates only a masterpieces. Not bullion coins but premium and highly collectable series of the coins. This particular series (Germania Beasts) most likely gave the very best reputation to Germania Mint.

Condition notes: Never opened from the capsules by me. No milkspots or scratches noticed at all.

I have checked on Ebay and there are only 3 of them for sale, the cheapest is listed for £170.

Germania Mint KILO Cast Bar mint sealed
in protective plastic with box.
This is Germania Mint's second largest cast bar (100 oz being the largest). Not too many of these around and sure to be a centre piece in your collection. This bar has no visible toning or scratches (hazing is on the plastic), but is still sold as bullion silver. 
 
THIRTYTWO (32.15) ounces of 999 silver.

Starting Bid: Silver Spot Price (pre-VAT give or take) - £657

Auction End: Wednesday, 19th April at 21:00 (see notes), as to give non premium members a chance to bid.

Notes:
Action End - If I am not able to be present at closing, I will select the winner as the person closest to the End Time without going over. 
                      If I am present, the auction will have a soft close, meaning I will make three final calls around the end time.
If the call is interrupted, I will start with three more final calls. This will go until no one else bids and 
                      the "hammer" drops by my writing "SOLD".
Increments: If a bid does not meet the £3 minimum raise, it will be invalid and the previous bid will be the current high bid. 
Payment Due: Payment will be due immediately after the auctions closes. If this is not possible, arrangements need to be made asap.

Nice and easy. Two half sovereigns. Neither in particularly good condition but the pictures show that better than I can explain.
I can post these today for arrival on Saturday morning (Special Delivery) otherwise it will be on Saturday from Tuesday arrival due to the Bank Holiday.
£412.00 posted for both.

I would most definitely say that gold bullion sovereigns are the way to go ..Try and get it as close to spot as you can ...depending on your budget start off on half sovereigns..That's how I first  started off as money was tight at the time .. if you can afford it at the moment a memorial half or full proof sovereign is a good investment.. these will only go up in price..you can still get these from  Chards for a good price ..But I mostly stick to bullion sovereigns

Hi all,
I would like to share my experience with BullionByPost as they were the last to try.I haven't had much luck in the past trying to get the best condition for the coins I want to be in top condition.
I sent them an email first,asking about the condition of their 2022 gold buffalo.I told them that I had bad experience with other online bullion dealers,that coins which were described as mint state were drilled,acid tested...
They said there can be marks occasionally in the Buffalo coins ,but they certainly wouldn't sell a coin that had been drilled or acid tested.
I have tried to find a buffalo here on thesilverforum to buy but I got only one offer for a Buffalo that was badly scratched and at same price BullionByPost had on stock.
Thinking that I can't get a worse condition than the one offered on thesilverforum I went ahead and placed an order for a 2022 mint state gold Buffalo from BullionByPost.
To my surprise,the coin arrived in a perfect fit capsule and couldn't believe that I finally got a top condition gold Buffalo.I'm not an expert but seems to be an MS69.
I'm very happy with the condition of the gold buffalo and that finally,with the pre 1942 gold indians,the family is reunited.
