Brits: All Franklin halves are not rare, you can complete the series for less than two grand in BU grade. Even the proof are a good deal. Just check to make sure if you have a type one and type two proof for one date, I think the type two is the big ticket item. Walking liberty halves are great but cost a lot in high grades especially for back dated ones such as the 1916. Once you get into the 1940s, the walkers, as we Americans call them, go for about $30-$40 each in AU to BU. I own a few walkers that my dad gave to me that his dad had. 

I got these robins medals that are replicas of the original medals giving to the Apollo 11 astronauts, their families and the crew. The one in the box is 1oz of silver with some space  flown material graded MS70 by NGC and CAG and the one next to the silver one is a copper medal graded Gem UNC. I like the copper one a lot more because of the shine when it hits the light.

Ok, now let’s talk about the real medals. Neil Armstrong’s gold medal was sold at an auction for two million dollars graded by NGC and CAG as MS 67. That medal should be graded MS 70 because it was owned by Armstrong and of course it was taken with him to space. It’s not like it was going to sit in his house.

I bought a bunch of random British pennies, a crown, a toned and cleaned Canadian large cent , a peso, and some other world coins. I did buy two banknotes as well.

I bout a half gram elephant from Apmex and I think I bought out all the inventory they had. I can’t find info on the mintage for the gold elephant especially the half gram.

They do in the pictures, but then I see videos like @Numistacker's and they look like normal gold coins.

The young head refers to the first effigy of Victoria starting in 1838 and used until 1887

@sovereignsteveI like that design a lot. I don't understand the fascination with Elizabeth II. We don't put one president on all of our money in the US so it odd to me.

Thanks @sovereignsteve. I know also some people take the numbers of real NGC slabs and post them online and sell fake coins on eBay. I was lucky to get it at a what I think is a good deal, not great. That will be my last coin purchase for now as I need to save up for other things. Was the sovereign an actual denomination or has it always been "bullion"?

@Numistacker and @sovereignsteve Here is my 1959 Great Britain 1 Sov in MS64 "graded" by NGC. Would you sovereign experts please tell me if this is real from the pictures?

My first sovereign

This post is  a few days old but I order this 1959 sovereign on EBay. I'm nervous that it may be a fake but someone checked the serial number on the slab and it's seems to be real but I hear that people steal real serial numbers and use them to fool people into thinking that will receive a real coin. Anyways, all you British people have wonderful gold coins and thank you @Numistacker for all the sovereign videos as this purchase was because of you. As an American, I could buy a lot more of these than pre 33 gold.

Sweet slabbed panda. I love it when the pandas are in those holders. I know the coin is more important than the graded slab but they are worth it.

That's what I want to do. Start at the first date and go to 2017.

I got a 1/10oz proof platinum eagle and a 2019 silver panda. I love that slabbed panda. I would love to complete my panda series by back back dated coins.
