I thought these were going to be in 1/4 and 1 ounce for gold. Seems like they'll be much larger.

AgCoyote reacted to Bimetallic in Costco selling PAMP bars, possibly below spot sometimes
Hi all – There's been quite a bit of media coverage of Costco selling PAMP bars online. One article claimed that the price sometimes falls under spot. They're a major discount warehouse-style retailer in the US.
Limit of two bars. They keep selling out apparently. They're 1 oz Lady Fortuna bars. Online only.
When I first heard this I thought their margins must be razor thin – retailers are used to much greater markups than bullion dealers most of the time (how dealers make it work is still a mystery to me, @LawrenceChard). So it makes sense if they are indeed falling under spot occasionally – I doubt their website supports the constant real-time price updates tracking a spot price and other variables, but who knows.
The coverage is weird. It's like buying a gold bar is unheard of, like who would buy one online, and with incompetent price comparisons. And what does this mean?
"APMEX and JM Bullion sell gold by weight, quantity and price."
By price? How do you sell something by price? Anyway, the reporters are all struggling to describe a market we take for granted. It reminds me of the recurring lesson that when the media reports on something you know a lot about, you notice severe errors. Depending on the rate, it implies they're just as bad at other topics...

It is indeed strange that Germany doesn't have its own mass produced gold and silver bullion coins given that it's a ravenous bullion market. I do wonder though, what would the theme of the coin be? There are no animals that I really associate exclusively with Germany. Maybe Neuschwanstein Castle would be cool.
I wish Italy, Switzerland, India, Japan and a south American country mass produced bullion coins. It'd be nice to have more variety.

Exactly and you've got these foolish derpty derp stackers who are so damn ignorant that they only buy eagles. These people are total buffoons as they reward the US Mint for their gargantuan incompotence by paying them higher premiums for a far inferior product.

I'm an American and I have over 1250 ounces of silver. I have a grand total of 4 silver eagles and I'd gladly trade them for maples, kookaburras or Britannias.

Seems to be what it is. I loved the Valiant and think it was a mistake to get rid of it and continue the Royal Arms instead. I can't wait to see the design.

Just further illustrates the failure of the U.S. mint to release a product that matches other sovereign minted bullion coins.  I still have yet to see a single example of a decent fake modern maple or brittania.  I mean, as one of these scumbag Chinese forging entities, why bother attempting a coin with legit security features when you can easily produce derpty derp eagles?

Brown also did some far more damaging things with long lasting consequences. Equality Act 2010, 50% income tax, etc. The Tories have been dismal in their performance but always remember the constitutional vandalism Labour commit at the earliest opportunities. Says a lot as Blair is the most electable (and probably the most damaging with his fiddling with House of Lords devolution, university enrolment, to name but a few) of them all.

1/4 to 1/2 Britannias and Kangaroos. Britannias have the security features and Kangaroos give you future collector's premiums.

I loved QEII. She was a real Queen and always stressed she was there to serve, not to be served. I love that she served as a mechanic during WWII:
"QEII joined the Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS) in 1945, where she trained and served as a mechanic and driver during World War II. She was the first female member of the royal family to serve full time in the armed forces and the only living head of state who served in World War II. She did this against the wishes of her father, King George"
I also believe she was a genuine Christian, even the sexed-up Netflix series, "The Crown", portrayed Her Majesty in this light.
"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45, NKJV)
Having said that I refer to QEII as, "Queen Elizabeth the Last"
The Monarchy led by Charles is a complete farce. The guy invited Ursula von der Leyen to the Palace. Not sure who was kissing whose ring but Ursula is not a Head of State and the King had no business holding this meeting, especially considering the UK is no longer part of the EU. The meeting was held to discuss methods of forcing the UK back into the EU. The Monarch is supposed to be politically neutral and keep their opinions to themselves but with Charles we all know his positions - WEF one world government, woke, climate change and other globalist interfaith agendas. As the recent protestors have proudly stated, "NOT MY KING"

I think Charlie will be perfectly happy to allow his subjects to be led along a path of destruction by way of Schwab’s ideology, mass vaccinations, insects replacing foodstuffs, mass irradiation courtesy  of 5G masts, and a carefully applied erosion to human rights. That said, he does cut a splendid profile adorned with his crown on the new 2023 sovereign so I forgive him all that. 🤣
