  1. That St. Helena Snow Leopard looks very cartoonish. It's a shame that the Kazakh golden Irbis isn't more available or appropriately priced. I think it'd be on par with something like the Armenia Noah's Ark coins.
  2. Coins are always better than bars in my view. I would choose the Kookaburra.
  3. As an American of partial English descent, I absolutely love this Lion and Eagle. It looks amazing in gold. It goes to show how awful the US Mint is when the RM hires Mercanti to do this and it really looks sharp. The US Mint would never do a bullion product like this coin. I hope there is a 1/4 oz gold, otherwise I'll have to save up for the full ounce which I have a difficult time doing as I'm too impulsive. Hopefully there is a ten ounce silver as well.
  4. Sometimes I have some gold related photos.
  5. Interesting Kangaroo. The kangaroo itself looks very good. I just wish there was more to the background. OveralI it's solid but not spectacular. It feels a little too similar to the 2022 in terms of how the Kangaroo is positioned.
  6. Are there any leaks on the 2024 gold Kangaroo?
  7. wow, that Lost Tigers coin is stunning.
  8. I think it's an extremely nice design and definitely fresh. It'll probably look great in 10 oz and kilo. It's interesting that Perth Mint got rid of the ring between the effigy and the lettering. It just feels a little off and I think Perth has the weakest Charles effigy between Perth, RM and the RCM.
  9. Very cool coin. I suspect that will be a very popular Kookaburra. The Charles effigy on Perth coins is so bad. I miss Liz 2 so much.
  10. I'm stunned there hasn't been a leak of the 2024 Kookaburra.
  11. Does anyone know where to find a capsule for a 1/4 gold maple? I really don't want the black ring on the outside. It seems like a Perth Mint 1/4 capsule would fit perfectly but I can't find them anywhere online.
  12. I thought these were going to be in 1/4 and 1 ounce for gold. Seems like they'll be much larger.
  13. It is indeed strange that Germany doesn't have its own mass produced gold and silver bullion coins given that it's a ravenous bullion market. I do wonder though, what would the theme of the coin be? There are no animals that I really associate exclusively with Germany. Maybe Neuschwanstein Castle would be cool. I wish Italy, Switzerland, India, Japan and a south American country mass produced bullion coins. It'd be nice to have more variety.
  14. Seems to be what it is. I loved the Valiant and think it was a mistake to get rid of it and continue the Royal Arms instead. I can't wait to see the design.
  15. Exactly and you've got these foolish derpty derp stackers who are so damn ignorant that they only buy eagles. These people are total buffoons as they reward the US Mint for their gargantuan incompotence by paying them higher premiums for a far inferior product. I'm an American and I have over 1250 ounces of silver. I have a grand total of 4 silver eagles and I'd gladly trade them for maples, kookaburras or Britannias.
  16. Very nice. I always make sure to get Kookaburras whenever possible. The 2019 is my favorite, such a serene design.
  17. It's all a matter of personal taste. I like kookaburras/koalas the best.
  18. I will definitely buy more from the RCM. The Canadian depiction of Liz II was an embarrassment and I pretty much only bought gold from Australia or the UK. A lot of this definitely had to do with the weak effigy on Canadian maples. The Canadian depiction of Charles is easily the best between the Perth, Royal Mint and RCM. The Perth depiction of Charles is extremely mopey and sad. The Royal Mint's is OK. Charles has a much more regal attitude in the Canadian effigy. I will still buy more Perth coins with Charles than I did Canadian coins of Liz because I'm sure Aussie Kangaroos will be very nice.
  19. I prefer the Queen over Charles, that's for sure. I buy as much with the Queen while I can. I think Charles is mostly a clown but I have no problem buying things with the effigy on it. If anything, I enjoy doing something so reactionary as buying gold and silver and having a guy like Charles on the coin. I think the Canadian effigy is clearly the best one.
  20. Britain needs an actual conservative limited government party. From what I see it's basically choosing between people who have no core disagreements.
  21. The Perth Lunar dragon in silver looks fantastic. The gold seems a little off to me.
  22. I don't collect pandas but that's a very appealing design.
  23. 1/4 to 1/2 Britannias and Kangaroos. Britannias have the security features and Kangaroos give you future collector's premiums.
