Thanks to @BleyerBullion for the super quick delivery of the 10 oz White Horse. Only ordered yesterday afternoon so excellent. Also nice to get a couple of little freebies and a hand written note, great to give a purchase that personal touch.
Just one to go in the collection now and the box is starting to get very heavy, good job its one of Alun's and can take the strain 😀

The 1931 SA sovereign arrived today. I’m getting closer to completing the George V, small head Sovereign collection.
Six down (two not in the photo) four to go and that’s all ten of the George V small head variety.

And this is why I stick with Gold 

The days of 10oz qb European orders brings a tear to my eye. 
Looking at royal mints website for the price of the white horse, brings even more tears to the eyes.

100oz Una and the Lion bar... bought it from silvergoldbull but it has a ugly scratch on it... don’t know what to do.. 😪

I just ordered some Platinum Beasts from the RM and it hurts with the VAT but to be fair the European prices without VAT weren't much cheaper.
I haven't checked prices recently but I pre-ordered my 10oz QB White Horse from Chards

Couldn’t resist. The only double sovereign in my collection but had to fill the gap. Looks lovely side by side. 1/2s and 1/4s are a little too small for me so will stick with the hand I have ♠️❤️♦️♣️

Funny. My first experience of collecting (less than two months ago) was being given a 2019 sovereign by my mother. 
It wasn't the size that surprised me, it was how much it was worth. ! I had no idea until that point, of the real value of gold coins. 
I do now, 23 more sovereigns later. It's not only addictive, it's expensive. 😄

Today I received my first 1oz gold coin. Feels big & beautiful compared to the 1/4oz! I also didnt know that they do “QC” on bullion.

Just arrived, joining its brethren, didn't think it would be so low in the mintage but I'm not arguing.
 

I would only buy coins that are actually 'in stock'. As newbie avoid those that say 'orderable'. Clearly you've been looking at Chards but they do charge delivery so that increases your overall costs. There are better priced dealers out there with free postage. Sharps pixley looks good at the moment but do your own research.
