I have seen a couple of mentions about the new ebay coin / bullion selling regs which are being put into place so to try and pre-empt the major fallout and million questions I contacted ebay this morning.

No problem, so at the moment the restrictions on selling coins are mainly to do with the managed payments side of ebay
This is where we pay you directly into your bank account instead of PayPal - at the moment I can see you have not been invited to join Managed Payments just yet would that be correct?

So as it stands if you sell mostly coins on your account we will not look to activate you into Managed Payments until we have the catagory fully passed.

No Problem  - so Managed Payments is what we are calling the new process for seling and being paid on ebay - before this the transactions and payouts were handled by Paypal, whereas moving forward ebay will be handling this for all sellers on the site
 
Ok, so steps going forward how do I approach this to get it up and working. Personally I would much prefer to use my bank account than paypal

No not at all you can continue selling the way you are at the moment
Once we have the coin category fully passed we will be sending your email to register

That is correct , you dont need to make any changes or take any action right now until you receieve the email from us

For yourself it will depend on how quickly we have the coin category passed for selling with private sellers
That is due to happen some time this month so the email could come anytime after that - however we are on-boarding people more and more so it should be sooner rather than later
 
What will be required for this new managed thingy Rob please
 
No problem, we would look for the bank account details you wish to be paid into, as well as valid photo ID for verification
You may be asked to upload a bank statement along with the details but that should be about it!

I consider myself extremely fortunate to have coins that are about as perfect as I think they can be.
 

Today, I received my 2 oz silver proof 3 grace's coin and it's gorgeous - perfect condition on first inspection.
I don't normally buy silver nowadays, but given that this coin was only available in silver at the time of release, I couldn't resist.
What a piece of art.
I really don't think I'd want to sell this (sorry to those who I may have led on!). 
Saw a YouTube video the other day and they didn't know what the bit at the bottom of the coin was - I found out that it's actually referencing the Navy / power over the seas, with the ore.

I'm currently working on a grading guide for NGC, be ready in a day or two.

Please anyone with anything three graces just HODL until the first few graded pf70 have set the stage. Honestly. If the demand is there and.nowts up for sale demand will only increase. Nice to get X10 on your cash but theres no reason why it will be still worth X10 or many multiples more.in months/year to come. You'll thank me for it in long run
