Received this nice half sovereign yesterday from a forum member taking my total of gold up to 3oz! Most likely my last gold purchase for a while as I have been furloughed for 3 weeks. So this brightens the weekend ever so slightly! 

Thanks to @RisinSun my delivery arrived today, would post an unboxing video, but A) Who cares! B). Coronavirus has tripled my unboxing video length C) A picture does the job!
If anyone knows where to get replacement capsules from for the 10oz also that would be great!

Well I am super chuffed on several accounts. The silver pounds are a pristine complete date run from 1983-2009! 
Additionally they fit perfectly in ringed full sov capsules. 
 
And they fit nicely in this cheap coin holder box I had but never used. 
 
now to find capsules for the piedfort but think that’s not going to happen due to how thick they are  

As always a great purchase from Martin at Silvertrader 3 x 2020 1/2oz 1oz 2oz Luna 3 mice and my P20 Kooks from @Tozer Well packaged and stunning coins at a great price. Big thanks

So true everyone needs to make their own decision about where they want save their hard work and labour and when they want to sell, buy, re-allocate from different assets classes. Taking personal responsibility about your own finances is the key to ensuring that you preserve and take opportunities to grow your wealth.

To answer the question that DRAGGED this topic back to the fore, IMHO - each and everyone makes their own decisions -  so live by your OWN sword or Die by it !!

to me gold is a universal money. if i take say mexico peso's to india no one would take them for trade but if i travel to any country with gold i can get the local currency and be fine. i know some of you will bring up bitcoin but bitcoin is dependent on the internet and in my mind not as good as gold in hand.  jim
