Bought this from the Royal Mint, I swore off buying anything ever again from them due to quality control issues but since these come pre-graded from NGC I thought this cannot happen this time.  £400 for 2oz of silver I must be mad.

From @DW1777.  Even the packaging is in good nick, so here's a little unboxing adventure - enjoy.

Some nice NGC recent returns from @GoldDiggerDave   These 80's coins are difficult to hit PF70. Thanks to Dave and his exceptional conservation skills.  Plus a couple of modern gold proofs: 2020 Franklin 50p and 2023 Coronation 1 sov.

    Hello Everyone,
Firstly I want to say thank you to everyone that’s shown me a warm welcome (back)!
I joined the forum just over 2 years ago now (using a different username).
For those of you that remember my previous username, I rather you not share it publicly. (Happy to explain why privately).
The reason I took a 10 month break from TSF was because I was focusing on building a YouTube channel, the channel I created now has over 7,000 subscribers & a lot of my first subscribers actually came from here, so again thank you to those of you that helped support my channel in the early days!
It feels great to be back active on TSF, I’ve already been snooping around the trade section & picking up some silver. I forgot how great the deals were on here! Love this place, love the community & thanks again for having me and showing me such a warm welcome back!

Visited my safety deposit box today and put the recently acquired Gold with the rest of the Gold stack. Don't visit Safety Deposit box that often maybe once a year and took opportunity to take some photos. Gold bullion occupying 25% space in the box the remainder family jewellery. Still enough room in the box to add another 40 oz Gold in Royal Mint tubes to finish off Queens Beasts series.
Gold bullion square red box total 74.25 oz.

Thought I’d share my Britannia’s I’ve managed to accumulate into my collection. The 4 Philip Nathan 1 off designs are the perfect blend of traditional (1997 and 2005) and contemporary (2001 and 2003). The crenellated border detail ties the designs together. Jody Clarks 2014 Britannia is arguably the best design of them all and certainly the most sought after, incredible balance of elegance and strength. Also have the 2oz 2021 gold Britannia designed by P.J Lynch, a beautiful modern snapshot in time.
Though the 2023 design wasn’t too bad recent designs haven’t been the most inspiring which is a shame.

Old photo of mine but some of the Britannia Designs that I have managed to collect over the years. Shame I never managed to complete the collection by adding
2001 1 oz Gold Coin Britannia Bullion

2007 1 oz Gold Coin Britannia Bullion

It still remains my favourite design 2010 1 oz Gold Coin Britannia Bullion

Big shout out to @Clockpuncher for helping to complete my own Great Engravers collection with 2005 1oz gold Britannia designed by the legendary Philip Nathan. Though Philip is known for the iconic original Britannia which we have all come to love he also created 4 other incredibly beautiful 1 year designs in 1997, 2001, 2003 and 2005

@Abyss In 1982 this £50 note was one of the 1st coloured £50 notes in circulation. If it was in UNC condition it would also be worth 4x, but A01…. would be essential. Of course the gold proof quintuplet Sovereign could be worth 80x - No contest!……

In my news feed this article spiked my interest.... In 1876 1 troy oz Gold worth £4.24 could have purchased 11.79 Troy oz worth of Gold and in current GBP £17,802. The morale of the story hold onto the Gold not the paper money issued by a bank.....

A rare £50 note dating back to the 1800s was discovered by a schoolboy in a charity shop
The Norfolk student, 17, was helping out during a school field trip
After some research he managed to sell the note at four times its face value
The money went back to the charity
