Three of these little beauties arrived Saturday. I'll post more photos later, but I'm experimenting with my camera set-up.

Bullionaire got a reaction from Sharron in 2022 Proof Britannia Royal Mint Release
Got my 2 coin proof set today. Fortunately they are pretty much perfect (unlike poor BYB). And I got CoA no 600/600 which is nice.

Normally I show photos of gold, but today as a former bank-note collector I thought this might be interesting to show the first coloured helmeted 'Britannia' £5 note printed in 1957 the same year as the Gillick Sovereign. This has to be the best designed British banknote ever IMO. There is also a depiction of St George & Dragon, as well as a superb rendition of the reverse Lion/key and chain. Note that QE11 does not appear on this note. QE11 first appeared on the £1 banknote in 1960 and has been seen on all our notes for the last 62 years! and of course for 69 years on our coins. At the time this was the highest denomination banknote in circulation, and for some in 1957 this was a weeks wages! The £10 followed in 1964, the £20 in 1970, and the first £50 in 1981. The 3 Scottish Banks all print £100 notes. Anyone heard the death-knell of Coinage and Banknotes yet?😠

Gold down a little, Sterling up a little - what more invitation do you need for a cheeky unscheduled gold purchase?
A nice shiny 2022 half sovereign.
Only a week after picking up the double as well! Feeling like a high roller - if only I could maintain a £900 a week habit...😄
Anyway into the case with its big brother, only the full and the teeny-weeny quarter to go. (Won't be next week unfortunately☹)

Thanks everyone. An amazing gesture by @Squalleonhart. I’m a newbie stacker and this forum has been amazing since I joined. Great bunch of people, loads of knowledge and most importantly, some great banter. My goal when staring was to build a stack of silver at under £25 an ounce. I’ve learned so much now and will be moving onto the yellow stuff next. The addition of a free Brit is amazing. To continue the acts of kindness, I will be donating £25 to help for heroes. I left the military recently after a long career so only seems right to put something back. Thanks all. Keep up the great work. Love this place!!!
