A very fast Harrington & Byrne delivery came today. Full and half Sovereigns

Nearly there in my quest for the complete set of 2005 Perth Mint Lunar Series 1. Latest 5 oz obtained from USA as there seemed to be nothing in Europe. All I need to do now is get a 1/2 kilo empty capsule, crack open the slab, source and buy the 1 kilo and commission a custom case. Not much to do lol.... work in progress and will be a few months yet before completion I think. 😀

Finally managed to get my hands on the book covering the proof and patterns for the Napoleonic coinage in Italy. It also includes the auction history for some of the issues which I have not seen in a book before so that makes my life much easier.
The quality of some of these issues also supports my thoughts that the Italian mints were a complete shambles compared to the French, Spanish, Dutch and German mints

Saved another £100 from the possible scenario of a hyperinflation or a re-evaluation of our currency in case we go digital Stack now at about 700 ounces. Hoping for a massive dip in silver price and enough supply to get to 1000 ounces. Thanks go to @arshimo2012
