Just got home to this😊. My 1st platinum coin. Surprised there hasn’t been many more platinum metal coins in a platinum jubilee year. Maybe there are more coming but didn’t want to take the chance

The postie brought the quarter sovereign today. That completes the set at the moment but I would dearly love a five sovereign to go with them.

Nice SOTD sovereign.  Will be going off for grading (grubby marks are on the capsule).  Hoping to get a top grade for this low mintage coin (739).
 
 

New 19 sov box from RM. Very pleased with this, it is weighty and feels and looks high quality. I like the paperwork hidey hole and the velvet "lid"
The only downsides for me are that they could have done a bottom tray instead of the paperwork caddy and the 19 is an odd number, it could have been 20 easily and the one row of four may trigger my ocd in time! Also can't use currently as no caps in stock at RM 🤣

Finally turned up and I am over the moon I missed the inial release and RM rang me to say as I ordered the 3 graces did I was the gothic crowns
I jumped at the chance and glad I did it looks perfect 
Now when does the second get released 🤔 

Today, I received a small stack of gothic crowns. Very pleased with them. Its just made me more worried about running the gauntlet in March for the portrait version 😬

Arrived today, bought from Chards.
Two lovely Silver Proof £5 Crowns with interesting and modern alternative interpretations of the classic George & Dragon design.  
These commemorating Prince George’s 2nd & 5th Birthday- and will sit nicely beside the ‘The Royal Birth’ and the 1st Birthday £5 Crowns.
If anyone has the Prince George Christening £5 Crown and wishes to part with it, please give me a shout 👍

1995 Double Sovereign.  Looks to be mint - the obligatory dust and hair (presumably from RM).

The last issue of the America the Beautiful series. A total of 56 pieces since 2010. The size of these 5oz coins is also impressive. I'm glad I held out for what is for me the longest series in the world.

Annual set came today, I was gonna send it back and wait for my £5.00 proof and Peidfort to come but i think im gonna keep and sell the other two now, i know its not sterling or fine silver but its a lovely set
