A 1878S AU 58 from @Colnago it’s been very conservatively graded imo. Possibly 7/7.
for comparison the 1870 die 123 has been graded MS63

If we mention an unboxing video to @ChardsCoinandBullionDealer, we may see some action!

Really amazing details on every single coin. Like how the kangaroo's head is reflected in the water, the ants on the echidna coin, the structure of the moon... Every single coin is well thought out.
The coins are coming from Downies / Australia, minted by the Perth Mint. I like every single coin, the Kangaroo is my favorite so far.

Frenchie got a reaction from Paul in 2022 Gold Britannia Two Ounce Proof Coins - Very Nice!
Yes very strange. This coin is not sold out yet, but if I recall correctly, the 2014 was not sold out quickly, and I don't even mention the "not sold out" Sovereign 1989 at that time...Nevertheless, this design is growing in me and I took the plunge for the 1,2 and 5oz silver. I have also secured a 6 coin gold set. With all these different releases this year, there has been a lot of investment and effort involved , and I have decided to arbitrate some assets out of the banking system for these tangible assets. Anyway, I prefer to secure the coins and cancel them eventually later. The RM is long to ship ( I don't even have my GC silver kilo !). I'll receive the 1 oz silver shortly and will see how I "feel" the coin in hand, so plenty of time ahead to confirm or change my mind.
The 2oz is certainly a masterpiece thanks to @LawrenceChardfor the pictures, maybe we will be lucky to have an unboxing video of this coin ?

Can't recall it being mentioned yet but there is a complete lack of flipping of these here, feebay and on social media collectors/flippers groups. Seems strange

I recently saw some of these:
Which look even better in the 2 ounce gold proof version than in the 1 ounce silver version
Although they are not exactly cheap!

2x 2022 proof 1/2 sovereigns delivered within 6 DAYS! From the Perth mint.
I’m into month 4 waiting for the RM to complete my gothic order.

A maelstrom of delightful metal today.
Thank you @Ducat916 for the 5oz Gothic Crowns. I returned to the RM and opted for a refund on my 10oz Gothic’s due to poor quality- these beautiful 5oz examples are a fantastic substitute.
The Four Generations Crown from Chards is another step nearer my Crown run 👍
I already have a Jubilee Quarter Ounce but I couldn’t resist a PF70 graded example for only a little over issue price, at an eBay auction, not sure about the label, jury is out.
Also received is a Platinum Jubilee Silver Proof stamp cover- only 200 issued by the Royal Mint. And finally, a 1970 Proof Coin Set featuring the last issues of pre- Decimal Coinage & a lovely King George V Silver Jubilee medal.

This is a better photo:
As is this:
Almost as good as the original 1847 silver crown.
Now all I want is an 1853 version!

This just came in via Purolator Courier about 15 minutes ago. I had my eyes on the 2021 Iberian Lynx, but never thought I was able to get my hands on one due to the limited production run (and mainly a coin that is predominantly available in Europe only). So guess my surprise when I saw on Silvergoldbull.ca (Canadian online bullion dealer) had this available for sale. I pulled the trigger immediately. Details are gorgeous, I'm so glad I picked it up. Enjoy!

Frenchie reacted to LawrenceChard in Nepal Gold Fanam of Prithvi Vira Vikrama 1881-1911 (VS 1738-VS 1769)
Today we photographed a gold coin which appears to be a Fanam of Prithvi Vira Vikrama a.k.a. Prithvi Bir Bikram Shah.
But which way is up?
One of our team, who is Indian, managed to recognise one of the Hindi letters / symbols, शु , representing the sound "Su". I may need to enlist her further help in working out which way round this coin should be, and also whether the attribution shown on its coin holder is correct.
It probably weighs about 0.3 grams, and has a tiny diameter, about 6 mms.
Anybody out there care to contribute any more information?
