2 oz 2022 Kookaburra

Hi,

I see a gold gilded 2oz “Kook” will be available shortly. Does anyone happen to know if a plain silver example will also be available?

I don't like it when they gild coins.  Would prefer straight silver.

I could be wrong, but I'm almost certain that the last 2oz kookaburra was 2009. Which is a shame as they are stunning. That's why I have one as my profile pic...

So I wouldn't expect a 2oz this year unfortunately.

There will be probably a 1oz and 5oz plain silver and high relief version

Thanks guys, I feared that might be the case. Shame really!! I see there’s a 10 oz and a 1 kilo, I find these to be too big and pricey, but 2 would be perfect, maybe a 5 if the premium isn’t ridiculous.

I’ve managed to get hold of a F15 2022 privy mark. Hope they’ll be others, as I really like the 22 “Kook”.

No, the new 2 OZ Kookaburra series, started 2020, are all gildet Kook and edge. Only 1 & 5 OZ plain silver, as @Frenchie said. But the gildet 2 OZ Kooks didn't look that bad
