Nice platinum collection you will have mate once you hit I presume what will be 20 beasts and 2 completers. Some value in one set alone. 

I have seen none of the gothics with PCGS but the problem started with the Three Graces which I seen on both PCGS and NGC unfortunately.

The one ounce Platinum 2022 Lion of England dwarfed by its 10oz silver cousin.

That burn mark is already visible in the NGC photo so definitely did not appear just sometime afterwards...

No, I doubt it.
Only reacting in one place on the edge of the coin, plus there has been instances of hair cuttings of some nature and remnants of an egg sandwich apparently.
Royal Mint or NGC / PCGS would definitely not let that happen - way too much risk to their reputation.
Must be someone (3rd party) who likes egg sandwiches 🤷

Is it possibly a Royal Mint quality control issue? The metal seems to be reacting with something whereas in the past it never did. After all it doesn't seem to be reported to be happening with other silver coins??

Right behind you mate, I cancelled £8-£9k worth of silver. Voting with my money and trying to hit them where it hurts, but then again someone will snap them up 🙄

For sure, I am thinking about just leaving silver alone for now and wait. I cancelled my order for the latest British monarchs 2oz silver because I don't want it raw and grading there is now that added risk. Never mind all the other QC issues we already have and milk spots. 

Both direct and 3rd party have had the issue mate and also PCGS and NGC slabs have shown these burn marks. 
My coin was also not conserved 

What I don't get is surely they should be contacting customers about this, not just sending them back. I assume there is some sort of insurance but not sure as I have always sent through third party.
