All very true! I think one or two sensationalist news articles too many got pretty much everyone keeping anything different, just in case they were 'the next Kew Gardens'.
I think now is possibly/probably the best time to sell the ones with a premium. Except...
I think the whole set is very nice and quite special, one to keep for me

You really don't see any of the fancy 50p or £2 coins any more. Maybe 3 or 4 years ago they were relatively common, I have a few hundred quid worth with most of the available ones up till then, but I don't even bother now. Everyone is a coin collector now...
I have actually thought about taking them all to bank/post office and cashing them in. Probably have at least a sovereign worth!

Crumbs.  I think the last time that I was looking seriously for these coins in change was 2016 and 2017 and although not common, almost all of the £2 coins post 1995 were findable with patience.  I think the only ones I didn't find were the Wales and Northern Ireland 2002 Commonwealth Games coins, and the 2015 Britannia definitive coin.
On the 50ps, I found all 29 Olympic coins from 2012 to 2017 and everything else I wanted to keep apart from a Kew and a Jemima Puddleduck.
Perhaps the RM will release a new series of circulating currency coins at some point which might then be easier to find and keep.  Otherwise it takes the fun out of it for younger collectors.

Not really, I always check and even a 'common' coin is getting hard to find because people keep them all. 'Cointubers' like Christopher Collects are most at fault imo, he makes no apologies for having hundreds of most of them (except the obvious Kews etc, but he has a few of those). Being able to get sealed bags in bulk is a huge advantage most of us don't have. Even then the 10ps are as rare as hen's teeth.
Tenbob is a notable exception that I've seen, she always puts 'common' ones back in, and all her Jeremy Fishers go to charity.

A stunning coin. However (and I could very well be wrong) I wouldn't myself at these prices...they have almost doubled in 3-4 years.
It depends on your pockets, but for me that bird has flown now.

You can pick up a graded double for the same price as a raw full a lot of the time if you ignore PF70's, were I looking to buy I would target a PF68 or 69 double with original box and COA and jailbreak it - seen these go around £1400-£1450.
For PF70 though @James32 is on the money

Two of the assailants were given police suations, but the co-owner manager who sent them over got away without any action taken.

I didn't know you could do this on ebay without giving a good reason, do you still have to give one/make one up? When I used it very many years ago I would never cancel a winning bid, even if I made a heavy loss on something.

Also though, some of the bullion coins have been smart buys on release over the last 5 or 6 years.  For example the QB Lion, Griffin and Dragon, probably the QB Completers and possibly some others.
And the Una bullion bars were probably smart buys on release too, especially the 1 oz gold in my opinion.

I guess you are referring the the bullion versions of both.
Do you guys feel the 2022 Jubilee Sovereign will hold a premium in the future due to the sad passing of the Queen?
Yes, a slight premium compared with most definitive years, because of type collecting.
Also do you feel the 2023 Charles III Sovereign will hold a premium in the future due to it being the first of the new King?
While this is usually good interest and demand for the first coin of each new monarch or design, this is usually at its greatest at the time, then dwindles to some extent over time.
An example might be 1887 Queen Victoria Jubilee Head sovereigns. this was the first year of the design for her Golden Jubilee, and still the most popular date. Fortunately, especially with the London Mint issue, lots of people stashed one or morw away at the time, so that they still tend to turn up in minty condition more than other jubilee heads, or other mints.
I also guess you are asking because you are thinking of buying one or both.
If you like them go ahead and buy one of each. As long as you don't stampede into paying a stupid price / premium for them, they should be a good investment.
the 2022 gold double sovereign will also be about 100 times rarer.
Did anybody mention they are on a special TSF free postage offer from a well-known Blackpool bullion dealer?
Buy one before they sell out, and you might also win a 2022 gold sovereign, which would definitely be a good investment!
    😎

I don’t think so…I haven’t looked but I suspect they are probably selling at a premium on eBay.
I would much rather have Gillicks, which to my eye are nicer coins altogether.
